Yeah I think it's a great carb so far. I still have some tuning to do, but out of the box it's very responsive and I get better fuel economy. The guy is easy to message on the XTNG facebook page. He seems to get back to you in a reasonable amount of time. I plan on really fine tuning the carb next year as it's the end of riding here in NY.
@@LCARSADV that’s pretty par for the course as far as carbs go…I’ve had Lectron in the past and they also needed fine tuning…only smart carb says “right out of the box” type of thing (and boy the price it that way 😳) …it’s really just more about the company and the quality of the product that I care about. I could care less where it’s made 🤷🏼♂️
@@localenterprisebroadcastin5971 I had a smart carb, it was definitely not out of the box lol. Great carb, but definitely a lot of tuning involved to get it right. I suppose that’s true with any carb.
@@LCARSADV by any chance did you get to experience proper change in elevation or temperature ? I would be very interested by a XTNG to not have to constantly tune my carb and have poor performance at either top or bottom of the mountain but I can't find much reviews about this. And since you say it needs tuning like any other carb I'd like to make sure it is just inital setup for your bike rather than altitude and temp tuning like any other carb.
Check the FB GPX group as a couple guys put one in, but I believe a 34mm. I had a smart carb version on mine but it was a 26mm at the time as the bikes back then came with a smaller carb
I got one of this carbs to install on a 2022 ktm 125xc. I still gotta fly back home been hiding from the northeastern winter
Awesome Man!Great job!
Thanks! stay tuned!
That's it!!! I gotta get a TSE300.
lol It's definitely a fun one!
Sounds much more crisper than with the keihin clone
I would agree and it's even better since I adjusted the metering rod a little leaner!
Ok so I’ve seen videos trashing these carbs and yours seems positive…has the company been good to work with and is the carb still performing well?

Are the "stuff " still working ? Planing to buy that carb 🤔
Yeah! I think you’ll like it, be prepared to dial it in like any other carb though. I’m very happy with mine so far
