Some is because this operation is more comfortable than the right operation that we supposed to do, some is just try to get other operation for others to know there's still a way to get pure in this chart

On certain situation, holding the opposite arcs were easier to execute. Sure you have to follow the "law" of left = blue and right = red, but i don't see the problem to infringe the "law" if it's more effective to do.
