Been meaning to get over there to do the Sofala ride. I've been over a few times in my truck and always thought what a fun road it'd be.

Good old gopro has caught me again instead of being in cinema mode it's filmed in 4.3.
Something else I'll have to keep an eye on.
Atleast there is footage I have had no audio before an also just randomly lost all my footage.
You think gopro would have perfected this shit by now.

We rode dirt bikes, shot feral's, went spotlighting and camped along the river from 89 to 96/97 when semi auto's and pump action firearms were made illegal, also the hassle of having and maintaining firearms, separate safes, property owner letters/licenses became too onerous. In Australia you're not allowed to have fun as the politicians prefer us to live in our homes only watching our phones for entertainment as this saves governments incredible amounts of money, i.e. cash that that they now mistakenly believe they are entitled to keep a portion for themselves. Each administration does this as they know their time in office is short and they see the position as a means to create personal wealth in a short period of time, that is wealth beyond their wildest dreams and on top of this they receive the most generous tax payer funded retirement benefits plan and for life after providing only 4 years of good, bad or indifferent service. What a load of BS this is, what other job requires you to work for only 4 years before receiving the World's greatest tax payer funded retirement benefit scam on the planet. Luxury first class travel, personal motor vehicles and drivers, a fully staffed office and the list goes on and on and on and all paid for by the very people they have wronged. Unless you are incredibly wealthy in that you have $10,000,000 invested and you own several investment properties, be aware that you will struggle to maintain any sort of living standard in Australia, it is a wonderful place to live if you are incredibly wealthy, however it's 3rd World for low and middle class income families.
