As a Ghanaian, I am so proud and happy to see my Brothers and Sisters in Trinidad And Tobago, I am proud our King traveled to meet our distant Brothers and Sisters. We are the same people, Ghana is your home too, you're most welcome at any time. Maybe we should begin to marry each other. 🇧🇴❤🇹🇹

@jeffafriyie883 thank you for your comments. We were happy to host the King and his entourage for our Emancipation 2023. We are one people, separated only by time and distance. Afro Trinbagonians remembered our heritage in the foods we cooked, how we prayed, the things we said...these are things the colonizers could not totally take from us. Long live the Great Ashanti people of Ghana, the people of T&T sends their love in the spirit of Kwame Nkrumah the Pan Africanist!!

Why is it that those diaspora blacks,
who return to Africa. Can not buy freehold land. They can only buy leasehold land. Ghana allows only leasehold land up to 99 years. What kind of land tenture were you offer in Trinidad and Tobago? Leasehold or Freehold? I welcome you visit. But can you kindly fix this issue. Then public it on Social Media. For all to see and not be caught out, in this trap. Like so many who have return to Africa. 5 years after I bought land in Uganda. They told me its leasehold. That no foreigners can purchase freehold land in any African country. Unless you marry an African. I don't want to marry an African just for land. Some give 49 years leasehold. The most is 99 years leasehold. That's no good if I want to pass my land on to my grandchildren or their children.

@gloriasamuel5685 T&T was like this several years ago. I suppose it is to avoid wealthy foreigners buying up lands and the native people cannot own their own lands. If the land is leasehold check to see whether the lease is renewable for your grandchildren sake.

That's shockingly strange if otumfuo(Ashantis)could deliver positive message on the Emancipation durbar but can't even manage or play positively on own Home affairs in Ghana and the Ashanti Kingdom which full of corruptions, malpractices, galamsey and poor economic crisis Hypocrisy!.
