Yes, I shouldn't have written that. I was hungover after the gig, having personal problems, hating my life and very surly/negative/p'd off at the time. I should instead thank all involved for assembling this line up and making good music worth listening to, (which is thin on the ground these days), and thank David for preserving those two spitfires for posterity. Exquisite video edit and sound - great song, as is the rest of the album, beautifully fronted by Jon. I am loving Dizzy's live organ riffs on this and Richard's take on the guitar parts - safe guess that Slash too is really proud of this performance of Lock N' Load and the life this song he co-wrote so long ago is enjoying with The Dead Daisies. If there is a long form tour video released at some point in the future I will be buying it.
Wow, this guy's vocals are way better than Corabi's, why did they switch singers ? I guess it doesn't matter, now they have Glenn Hughes.

Saw this band in a small town club in Australia in 2014 for free with Jon Stevens on vocals, Dizzy on keys and John Tempesta on drums,different bass player and the rhythm guitarist was along for the ride also.
I though they were the best line up this band has had.Why did they have to fuck with it?

That's the best line up this guys ever had. Those black dudes really make the difference. Nowdays they look like just another white band.
Unfortunately Jon Stevens fucked up somewhat and it was hard to get him to the USA at the time. As it was (and really still is)David Lowry's band, and as they had a floating lineup anyway, he went a different direction. Man, the bloke had poored plenty of money into different bands over the years so begrudge him some success.

Fuck you Andrew dods, David Lowy has done a brilliant job restoring spitfires in Temora, NSW...bringing joy to lots of ex-RAF pilots like my dad and aviation buffs. Lowy family has done many great things for this country...the fact that they have $$$ is because they worked the asses off to get where they are, and David is a real muso..he helped fund the Dead Daises and he should be applauded lfor it...not bagged...what have you done champion..dickhead!
