- The protagonist of the story whose name is 'Saudagar' represents the majority of the Indian society which is almost deprived from even basic surviving and is forced to sustain meaninglessly.
Somewhere the ray of hope is blooming inside saudagar who desires to stable his children so that they can lead a better and healthy life.
For the same, he bought a calf and started nurturing it like one of his own children so that one day he can milk her for the sake of his own children. And he does, the calf turned into a healthy buffalo and even served the family for many years.
Saudagar realised the warmth for the buffalo after her demise. Being a person who by profession removes skin from an animal carcass found it difficult to skin his own buffalo.
Alas, his wife 'Parsini' found him weeping while sitting on the skin of his own buffalo remembering the calf he brought years back...
