Power ratio : 15kg/ps or if you prefer: 66ps/tonne . This Diesel engine is stronger than i thought. But this car is really(excessive) heavy! Even though 12.3" in 0-62mph is not bad for a minivan, i think is average for this car segment! So i see a pretty good family man car !
@@RS-nq8xk The V6 Toyota Alphard is a really nice car. The vans i was talking about are just examples. Im sure there are much quciker vans than the ones i gave as example.
@@RS-nq8xk We had a 3.5 V6 2007 nissan elgrand and when you floor it the car would just pull crazily. Its 0-100 is like 8-9 secs so it isnt that fast off the line but when going with like 60kph if you floor it, it will just pull.
If I was rich and wanted to be chauffeured around, this would almost be a decent pick. Except the exterior is vomit inducing, and I wouldn't want people to think I'm being driven around in a courier van like a parcel.
@@assada It's a pretty good engine however, it's the same engine from the Prado 2.8 diesel and Fortuner diesel. This engine is not about performance, it's about pulling all passengers and the vehicle itself effortlessly, Plus it's a Toyota and 174hp for 2.8l makes the engine last longer as there's less power for displacement and that's what Toyota is about

Nonsense
Yup... thx ♡

I find this video particularly calming and chill lol.
This style of vehicle needs the petrol V6
Needs a 1vd
If you need v6 buy Alphard 3.5
Alphard 3.5 naturally aspirated engine makes 360NM
This 2.8 found in the Prado, Fortuner, Hiace models, Innova makes 450NM of torque.....
V6 would be a waste for this ridiculously looking brick on tiny wheels.
Would prob be stuff all quicker and use twice the fuel
This is a premium version of delivery van😂😂
Australian really happy people, they have Ford Barra and beautiful busses.
In saudi arabia it's offered with the 3.5 v6 and 0-60 in about 8 s search for arab gt review

It is ok but have you seen the v6 nissan elgrand and v6 toyota tarago. They're much faster
@@alperena4698 The actual luxury MPV is the JDM Alphard... 2.5? I4 and 3.5 V6 that will do 0-100 in 7-8 seconds and 8 speed auto...

It's a really nice car other than its box like shape but it just needs the V6 petrol. But still it's a pretty nice car inside.
You would struggle overtaking on a highway.
If you want v6 you just buy toyota alphard 3.5
@@anthonygtama7077 True
Yes by modern standards the 3.5 is thirsty, but it's n/a and literally has close to 300hp. Perhaps the 2.4T will perform better overall
Go to Middle East, they have the v6 version
I rode this in Philippines
This car has also electric side doors like jdm if you get the elite package of super grandia

This thing is literally a private jet on road
Except replace jet with underpowered brick, then replace brick with a lead cube.
@@madrx2 just watched other videos of this thing, it's a premium version of the Hiace van thought it was a class above van than the Alphard
@@nithishjvj8736 all good
A private jet that isn't moving anywhere in a hurry. They could also rip the seats out and use it as a hearse as those things don't need to go fast.

I was nearly asleep watching the 0-100 run. Slow old girl.
Can you try to review the Toyota Alphard?
Is this the replacement for the Toyota Tarago?
*its a hiace 2019?!*
Sorry if I missed it but how much does it cost. I’ve seen a few around lately
The VX starts from AU$74,990 (excluding on-road costs).
Is the 2gd detuned or is it same spec as the one in the prado?
Same
При такой массе ей бы двигатель от крузака на 4,5TD. Но для гражданской эксплуатации и это норм.
日本では、グランビアのグランとハイエースのエースで「グランエース」です。
But what if you want to overtake a slow truck on the freeway?
Well... I guess you can't.
Best option choice beside toyota alphard / vellfire 😏
Its big that i cant wash the roof properly
Mantab mantab
at least it faster than a prado, lol
0-60 in 14 seconds? 😳. Was expecting 9 at least...
12,36 is not 14 sir
I was expecting it to be slower. 2.5 tonnes and only a 4 cylinder 2.8 turbo diesel. I reckon it should have at least a 3.5 V6 petrol.
0- 100 one week
The old hiace is faster than this shit
Literally a black box on wheels 😂
Toyota still sells cars this slow in 2020...
velar sva 0 to 100
