All season, Tucker was the favorite to win it all. By the time they get going in this game, it's almost too late. It briefly looked like they might pull it out, but they were clearly outclassed. Thanks for posting.
No problem! The team got started slow and the momentum shifted. I thought that Tucker was going to win too since they started to play like themselves again.
@@byronhenry it seems to me what happened with Tucker, South Cobb and Grayson is that they were victims of their own success. When you don't have a lot of close, tough games during the regular season, you haven't necessarily built the grit to win the close ones in the playoffs. It seems if you win all your games by double digits in the regular season, you just aren't prepared as well for those down to the wire games. Just a theory :-)
@@reedriter That is a good theory. I am not sure about Tucker and South Cobb, but Grayson had to come back a few times during the season to win in the last couple of minutes.
It was amazing they were able to beat Tucker on their home court without Peyton Daniels in the lineup. Also stunning they lost the following week with Peyton Daniels. But that's what makes this sport so exciting and I think 7a and 6a had some really great ball this year.
@@reedriter I agree with you but Chattahoochee was a very good team so in my opinion 6A & 7A was a toss up with so many good teams & it could have went either way in those classifications.
@@ImHer4Eva My teen would have gone to Tucker but ended up going to Chattahoochee when we moved to John's Creek, so that is why this 6A playoff was so exciting for me. I was hoping it would be Hooch vs. Tucker, but Tri Cities really outclassed the Tigers. I'll bet they were shocked to lose to Hooch after beating Tucker at Tucker...but that's what makes hoops so exciting.
This was a battle of 2 great teams & but unfortunately someone had to lose but it was a very good battle between these powerhouses & also you will definitely see #15, #1, #5 & #4 from Tucker playing on the next level & that's not taking anything away from the rest of the guys on that squad & Tri Cities didn't have any particular standouts because everybody came to play & it seems like any kid that touched the ball on that team is capable of playing on the next level & scoring double digits at any given moment & Tri Cities is one of the best shooting teams that I have seen in a very long time & from what I hear they are loaded with underclassmen!!!
At 26:30 no 23 of Tri Cities blatantly pushes over the Tucker free throw shooter right before the buzzer. Not a hard shove but shouldn’t that have been a foul?
You are right! This was an excellent game between the two powerhouse teams. You know it's a good game when everyone is on the edge of their seat!

byron henry yeah I guess in the case of Grayson they just got unlucky that Sam Hines had a near perfect game.
@@reedriter You are definitely right! That is the time to have your best game!!
Unbelievable how Tri Cities shoots the ball

Like you said, there is a lot of talent on both sides! It will be a blessing to watch their future college games!
Can you go to the Grayson Milton game on Saturday
That would be nice but the NFHS network has the rights to stream the games. The network usually doesn't contract out the games to other businesses.
byron henry Ok thank you!

Why do they both have on white
Tri-Cities actually had on grey jerseys. A closer shot at 22:46 shows the grey in the jersey. You are right though that the jerseys do look similar!
Are you going to be at the Lanier and southcobb game tomorrow
