    I've made these changes through personal experience, trial and error and I can say with confidence this person is correct. I changed my candles to a pretty soft green and soft black with lighter gray bodies and a black background. Everything else he said is correct. it's great to hear someone else say I'm on the right path!

    Incredible. I love this video and i also subscribed. I can't agree more with you. The biggest mistakes I've made are trading with emotion and not using stop losses and using "hope" it'll come back. Still working on the emotions part. It's not easy, and it's not for everyone to try and day trade with your own hard earned money. The same color candles is something I'm highly considering

Edit: a few weeks back i also discovered wider stop loss with smaller pos size, truly a game changer and has helped me a lot!!

And I did it twice! 🙄 I do use grey candles or bars with slightly different shades. And I do really like the RSI Bars you posted about and I'm tweaking the code for gradient color. The candles combined with a higher time frame removed a lot of the “noise” and greatly smoothed out the trend for me. One of the best things I’ve used to date to improve overall trading. Use a paper account to practice and experiment. Seriously do this.

  • @MoustacheMedic

    I'll have to give this a try. Getting a handle on my anxiety and not touching the trade after it's entered (i use a set take profit / stop loss in a 4:1 ratio so i don't have to touch it) is the hardest thing, even after having a whole week of wins and my strategies working almost flawlessly at times i still find myself messing with it and leaving profit behind or missing my exit and hitting my loss and it really is the most frustrating feeling I've ever felt in my life. Self control cannot be understated in the trade world.

  • @painandsuffer
    @painandsuffer 2 роки тому +2

    So true my good sir.
    Video is like looking into a mirror when I first started.
    Took me 7 months to figure that out on my own. Learned a lot on the way..
    Stay calm, if it goes negative,
    Zoom out were the candles are smaller.. that helps.
    Trust in your studying if it's bullish or bearish..
    Using the Demo and Live account at the same time helped. Hesitate in the Live, didn't on the Demo. It showed me, trust in my decision.
    I could of made $25 or even $60.
    But you didn't because you hesitated.
    But sometimes you have to know when to fold.. it might go back up but much later in the night or day depends.. missing opportunities during that time.
    If you lose a little bit of money.. so what... learn from it. Aways can be won back.
    There's always that 'what if' it goes the other way.. that holds most back
    Missing great opportunities
    Those who say they can't and those who say they can, are both correct.
    Never Fear Victory

  • @floydsmithjr7999
    @floydsmithjr7999 9 місяців тому

    Something that helped me get passed “pulling the trigger paralysis”, before you even look at the chart, accept the fact that you’re willing to lose, say for example, $1000.00. Once you’re ok with that, accepted it, then open the charts. Now that doesn’t mean you hold on to a loser until it hits minus a thousand, if the price action is telling you get out at minus 200 then get out. Your never gonna totally eliminate stress, no matter how you slice it losing sucks, but if you can accept it as part of the business you’ll be alright.

    my only question is: are time frames higher than the 1min and 5min candles still good for daytrading? i feel like higher timeframes would only be useful if you are planing entries that are there to stay for longer time...

      Yes they are good for daytrading bc higher timeframes give strong validation to levels of support and resistance.

      You should use bigger picture timeframe of 1h and 15m, then zero in to 5m/1m when necessary.

    *Nice one here, though I prefer trading with the help of a professional trader, I believe it saves me time and reduces the risk involved in managing my trades.*

      I usually go with registered representatives. ''Sherry Alfie " for example has the best performance history (in my opinion) and does offers 1v1 consultation to her copiers which I think is amazing. I don’t know how many traders like that are there.>

      I urge everyone to start somewhere now no matter how small, this is literally the time for that, forget material things, don't get tempted, i became more better the moment i realized this.

    I'm following you since a long time ago but this is the first time I comment (even if I always hit the like button) but this one specially speaks to me. Perftionnist with golden entries but struggling to hold them. Waiting for a stop loss chaser that never happen then so frustrated about the big move that I was waiting for a while occur without being in. I changed my candles from green and red to white and black respectively but this time I will try your advice with the only same color to erase my emotions which holds me from being consistently profitable.
    Also I used to trade H1 and H4 but now I'm a scalper (1mn/5mn) which requires a lot flexibility, quickness and reactivity. A lot of taken trades but as you said poor quality because of fear and greed and tight stop loss.
    Clearly so much work on the table for me man !
    Thanks a lot once again for all the amazing content you've shared here but I think this one is one of the best by far.

    Excellent advice Marius. You have highlighted what many problems traders go through and then offered good remedies to help overcome these obstacles. Even with/out the perfect indicators we all search for - lol .
