I ordered mine and got it last Friday... I couldn’t use it at all. It was so frustrating! I sat for 3 days watching videos and sitting with a cold iron trying to mimic your movements... I decided to pick it back up yesterday and BOOM! Perfect curls! On BOTH sides! I struggled with the back but...wow! The difference of learning how to hold it has been key. Thanks for showing me how to use it!

You ladies are spot on with what you said about beauty youtubers not doing enough research and giving up on a great product whilst also influencing the viewer to also believe it is not a great product because they found it too hard to use. I thankfully did more research and watched more videos especially yours and bought myself one and haven't looked back. I love the product, so easy to use. I wanted to see how long it would last, the curls last 5 - 7 days when it would last 2-3 with a flat iron or curling wand. I still watch your video hoping for this topic to come up as I had hoped you have seen their videos and address what they were doing. Thank you for an awesome product! 😁

I absolutely agree.. there’s a learning curve most people that reviewed the Tyme iron have skipped completely.
I have fine to medium hair.. that holds a curl until the end of day at most. That being said .. I’ve tried a lot of curling tools and overnight styles and the Tyme is by far the easiest thing to use and my curls hold for 2 days or more. Ive learned how to use it and won’t be going back .. very very happy.

You got this! There is a slight learning curve to the TYME Iron. When you’re styling, don’t forget the four main rules.
#1 Thumb behind the power button
#2 Guard plate should be closest to your roots. You should see the power light in the mirror. (Thumb up when curling the right side and thumb down when curling the left side)
#3 Rotate the closed iron away from you, kind of like revving a motorcycle.
#4 With a gentle grip glide throughout the length of your hair, moving towards the mirror.
*** extra step: twist your curl back into place to help set the curl higher.

I love my tyme iron so much I brag about it all the tyme. Thanks so much for making such an incredible tool. So will you be making a smaller barrel tool for tiny curls...? Like curly sue curls? That would be fun to play with.

I have absolutely done those steps and do not get a curl. This iron does not work for everyone.

I’ve watched like 10 of your tutorials and I still can’t get it. It doesn’t slide well and the curls are awful.
