Check out our T-H Marine BFL events. Start out as a co-angler, then work your way to the front of the boat when you gain experience. www.flwfishing.com/tournaments/bfl

I don't understand why FLW doesn't do something to help preserve these fisheries ...swinging this fish against the gunwales and letting them flop around on the carpets isn't acceptable.

And grab a bunch off their beds, and drive around with them in their live wells for 7 hours then stuff em in a bag and parade em across the stage before dumping them back in the lake 40 miles from the bed you caught them on without reviving them.

Studies show they have a very high survival rate. What you don't understand is legitimate fishery science. Small footprint in comparison to the money produced through DJ act to preserve and enhance the habit through federal and state agency.

@@HookandBulletOutdoors I fully understand as I've been fishing tournaments since the mid 1980s ..including BASS regional and Invitational events. Small foot print, uhh ok. I understand the challenges and the politics and I get it ..its great for FLW, their sponsors and the anglers ..but not so great for the fishery when these fish and the environment get beat up with 2-3 event's/week. I think the Major league fishing sets a great example ..aimed at preserving the sport as their unique rules reflects responsibility, commitment and respect for the fisheries. I know their format isn't likely to resonate with FLW ..but what's to stop your tournament Directors from mandating a "respect the fish" rules package ..consider the effects of that message to TV viewers and how that ideology would ripple thru the sport.. it'd be a positive reflection on the FLW ..because people do care my friend. Thanks for your consideration and compassion for making a difference.
