Had to lift and pump out my old boss's deck boat out of the water one time. A storm came through and all the moving cracked a 2x12 his back half of his lift was bolted too. Really like the set up of this lift.
Looks a great solution for you. I remember the old hoist and strap setups. You never knew when you got back to dock if the boat was still suspended. This also appears to cradle the boat so if it is rough the dock takes most of the beating. The canopy is a great add. It will add life and value to the boat and keep you out of the sun as well for little while at least.
I think I talked to u about ur lift on what of the other videos I did. And yeah the motors that air up the tanks, they are just vacuum motors are all they are! I noticed that someone else commented that they grew up on Grand Lake, that’s funny I seen that cause I live on Grand Lake, which is northeastern Oklahoma. And Hydrohoist was started and founded on this lake. And I believe they moved their corporate offices to Claremore, Oklahoma I believe. But yeah that’s the brand of lift to have on this lake for sure lol. And the other thing I was going to say was that ur type of lift and then the ones that we have on our dock, they all go off of air pressure. They are sealed system, so the only thing that is the tanks at all times is air. Let’s the air out to lower it and adds air to them to raise them. Glad to see u love yours. It’s crazy seeing hydrohoist lifts all the way down in the keys. I don’t know why more people don’t buy the ones like urs. I would much rather have a lift like urs then those cable lifts that u see everywhere down there.
I was hunting around trying to find a video of the HarborHoist in action. Your video included the noise of the blower while others muted it which wasn't helpful. Thanks!
Hi there! Love the video, I have a lift just like yours. Only question is where did the canopy come from? I would like to add that to mine. Thanks Mike Gile
Hello Rick, do you have a video showing the power washing of the lift? We are trying to get approval at our condo group to put these lifts in and they are concerned about marine growth. We are in south Florida on the gulf. Thanks!
Nice set up! I grew up in Oklahoma, and these were widely deployed on Grand Lake (near Tulsa).
Cool yeah I never spent a lot of time on freshwater lakes etc... But i know this kind of thing is very popular in them

That's a nightmare! Yeah anything can happen you never know...

Thanks yeah it's super safe which is nice... Had a pulley snap one time on the old rope lift that could've killed me. Scary!

Thanks for the new Video.
All those power cables draped around the metal structure ...what could go wrong!

Hey Mike the canopy was added on by tidewater boat lifts who built the lift. It's an extra option they offer and they are great!

You mention your shed. there's got to be some interesting stuff in there. Let's see.
Lol, not all that interesting I promise 😆 but I'll include a shot in there on an upcoming vid
How would this lift do in a very choppy lake
How much does the lift cost with the top?
You'd have to check with HydroHoist, but I believe mine with the top would retail around 15-16k a couple years ago
Thumbs up 👍
