Not big on Funko Pops but I'm still a pretty new subscriber and I'm loving this channel. It's becoming one of my favorites.

I bought a set of figures a while ago and just kinda had them sitting around, randomly decided to look them up the other day and it turns out one of them had printing problems or something and was discontinued early so now it's actually worth a little bit and that just kick started my desire to collect more, haha.

I remember when WoW came out they had a thick guide book for sale and there was a cartoon picture of "the overconfident tank" having murlocs all over him and be like "it's cool guys I got this". Back in the day when tanking required you to actually watch your pulls, not to draw too many enemies and hold bosses by shield block/revenge/armor shred stacks while your DDs watched their aggro.
Bottom line is: Murlocs are awesome!

You bought the common Murloc that is worth around $20 and was mass produced in 2014. This one from this mystery box was exclusive to the Emerald City Comic Con in 2016 and they only made 300 of them and it sells between $210-$250

My daughter collected beanie babies, convinced they would become highly collectable. She ended up selling most of them at a yard sale for .50 cents each.
I saw a whole collection of baseball cards or sale recently, No one even wanted them. My point is, was is collectable today may end up worthless tomarrow.
Its not about the money its about the satifaction its not about making a profit in buying them its about the satifaction and the feeling of going back to a kid
True. But that's not just collectibles. The same principle can be applied to the value of your car, expensive wooden furniture, electronics and so on and so forth. Basically it's capitalism: Produce cheap, sell expensive, create new desires so people have to get rid of their old stuff and buy new stuff. The price is you are paying for essentially worthless things, but then again money is only printed paper or imaginary numbers on a bank account so what gives?

I don't collect these things, I only buy to resell and I will have all of these sold by the end of the month. Collectors should be worried because the hype is dying on these.
I also only buy Funko Pop mystery boxes for my UA-cam videos because they are fun to shoot and people enjoy watching them

These 'mystery boxes' seem in general like gambling. My family breeds and trains race horses in Ireland. I never bet on a horse race. I don't know much about these pop things except that I want the German Shepherd ones. The price of these things is unstable. German Shepherd #2 is selling from USD $23.50 to USD $106 on Ebay. I'm waiting until it sells for USD $16.

I don't collect these but looking them up on eBay there is a blue label and green label version. The green is 250 and the blue is 25.
