Common Merganser Ducklings swimming with mom, dashing and learning to find food

June 2024 ducklings, first sighting.
Eagerly looking for food, cruising with mom.
I saw them ahead while litter picking, they were headed right my way! So I hid behind a tree, waiting for them to pass peacefully. Got lucky with the scoots!!! They were very sweet!
