Blackest Eyes - Porcupine Tree Drum Cover

This is a drum cover of Blackest Eyes by Porcupine Tree. Once again, special thanks to ‪@DrumeoOfficial‬ for the fantastic transcription (they didn't pay me to say this, but the drum transcriptions are one of the best features of a Drumeo membership). Yes, I'm looking at a laptop while I play along...that explains the blank stare. :)
The kit is a Roland TD-50KV2 triggering sounds from The Progressive Foundry SDX for Superior Drummer 3 (www.toontrack.com/product/the.... Gavin Harrison's drums were removed from the original track by the excellent RipX tool (hitnmix.com).

Thanks! The preset is called "Razor Wire," and the snare is the 8x14" Ludwig Black Magic Brass.

what's your recording method?

I record my MIDI performance to Logic while following along with Drumeo's transcription (at least in this case). Then I align a drumless version of the song in an audio track, balance the levels, and render it out as a final performance.
