Scarier than it looks on camera, I can assure you. ⚓🙂. The unpredictable swell comes in from the western end but has to squeeze out of a much smaller gap at the eastern end. Hence any swells are compressed, confused and lifted dramatically. There's very little room to manoeuvre inside and everything is magnified, including sound. One of the scariest places most sea kayakers ever get to paddle, even in calm conditions. ⚓🙂
