Wow! What a fantastic concept to create a video of having someone as knowledgeable as Justin outlining recommended changes to a vehicle to get it to where it needs to be. I can't stress enough how helpful something like this is to the general public! I could envision a series of "trouble free" vids produced by ST for each brand and model of UTV that's currently on the market. I'm located in Lake Havasu City AZ and I'm looking at buying a brand new 2021 KRX 1000 within the next few months and I would LOVE to hear from Justin as to what changes/upgrades he would recommend right out of the gate. My guess would be an ST spring kit with the silent crossovers. But I would love to hear what he has to say, especially since he owns a KRX. Thanks!

Amazing technical information with no fluff that is presented in a very straight forward fashion using layman's terms. Your engineering background makes your videos so much more appealing to me than others merely sharing their opinions. I am buying a Pro XP Ultimate 2 seater today. Man am I stoked! I have appreciated the information on this car that you have shared with us over other videos. At the beginning of this video you said that you did not have enough mileage to be able to share maintenance information on the Pro XP. Please revisit this car specific maintenance follow up video for the Pro XP. Thank you!

They should really add that this is west coast style riding. I want to know how the units hold up after being sunk a handful of times over 15 years, having a extra 50lbs of clay/mud stuck to the wheels for 8 hours. Having the radiator be completely jam packed full of mud, temp light flashing as the headers glow cherry red from a rip in the swamp, driving 2-3 feet under water. After a few months of that, run it at full throttle on the ice at -15F. That's what most midwest Hondas have been going the last 30 years. Show me a Polaris ATV from the 1980s. Edit: Forgot to add, all my Yamahas and Hondas do ride like crap, but at least they came from South Carolina and Georgia.

Take some black tape and put a couple rounds on the door striker on the body side at the front of the door. Also remove the 2 door pins and put a small piece under the flat head end of the pin
then re-inistall. That solved all the door rattles on my 2020 xpt4.

Love these videos! I'm looking to get back in next year and it's a toss up between the KRX or RZR-S Velocity. KRX cause it's built so well. It seems it needs nothing done to it out of the box. Yes it's a little under powered (has 3x what my long travel rhino had) but thinking I'd add a turbo down the road. I love the wheel base, ease of maintenance, width, cab room, visibility, belt temp sensor, oil window, comes with bead locks and I do about 90% trails, 10% dunes. The RZR-S Velocity would only be if I want to do more duning, but I'm worried about QC from Polaris, and I wish the wheel base was longer than 90". Thoughts...

    • @71dbart

Oh and I asked this cause you may have swayed me on the RZR-S if all it needs is sway bar link. You drive all this stuff so your input is greatly appreciated...thanks for putting these videos out.

@@71dbart between those two cars I feel that the KRX is a much more capable UTV. The power is similar and they will both trail very well, but if it gets really rough or you want to high speed some whoops or desert the KRX is much better for that without sacrificing anything in the trail stuff. @@ShockTherapyllc LOL, We do Barstow, El Mirage, Gorman, Calico, Dumont and Glamis. I know how well the KRX is built but also under powered. I wasn't sure if the new RZR Turbo S is better built than previous RZR models. If all it really needs is sway bar mount right off the bat, well I'll order them from you the day I get it LOL. Like I stated earlier, I just wish it had longer wheel base like the KRX. As for the width, my buddy has a Can Am XRS-72" wide and goes everywhere we go.
