Maynard explains the multiple videos for the track: “Upon hearing Carina’s rewire of ‘A Singularity.’ many of our extended family were moved and wanted to submit their own version of an accompanying video/film. I couldn’t decide which to use, so screw it. We’ll be releasing them one at a time over the next few weeks. Hope you enjoy them as much as we did.”
Billy Howerdel says of the clip: "In making this music video it was easy to get pulled into the landscape of this track. It screams of stillness, beauty and discourse.

On the inspiration for the song: "On Oct 7th, 2021, I lost my Muse. Deadly Little MiHo lost her 2 year battle with pancreatitis and kidney disease. We thought we lost her in late 2019, so I panicked and wrote her this song. We were certain she was done for. But we were blessed with a second chance and a bit more time. I rarely share things like this. Too painful. But this one can’t be kept bottled up. As I have mentioned before, she has been hiding in most of my vocal tracks since 2005. She was either in or near the vocal booth every time I tracked. Her sigh, her bark, sniffle, sneeze. Her jingling collar. Her squeaky toys. Usually poorly timed. Existential Reckoning: Re-Wired offers a track-for-track re-imagining of the 12 songs from Existential Reckoning. Puscifer band members Mitchell and Round, along with current touring musicians Greg Edwards (Failure, Autolux) and Gunnar Olsen reinterpret tracks from the prophetic, electro-laced record. The Academy Award-winning team of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross tackle “Apocalyptical” (Reznor has a co-writing credit with Maynard James Keenan and Mitchell on Puscifer’s 2009 song, “Potions”), Phantogram revamp “Postulous,” Drummer Sarah Jones and Bring Me The Horizon’s Jordan Fish tackle “”Theorem,” Queens of The Stone Age (and sometimes A Perfect Circle/Failure) guitar player Troy Van Leeuwen partners with his Gone is Gone bandmate, Tony Hajjar for “Grey Area,” while Tool’s Justin Chancellor and The Crystal Method’s Scott Kirkland join forces for “UPGrade.” Additional contributors include Juliette Commagere, who first appeared on Puscifer’s 2011 album Conditions of My Parole, keyboard player Alessandro Cortini (Nine Inch Nails), and BBC 1’s Daniel P. Carter.

It's rare that Maynard opens up like this. That really touched my heart finding out the inspiration behind the song, especially for Deadly Little MiHo. Being a Dog lover myself they really do bless our worlds and inspire the best out of us as humans. Great version and I can't wait to see the rest!!!!

Haven't forgotten, never lost, always gained, to remember, as to forget is at a loss, to always remember. Remembering as you go towards a life that they try to take, to take the advantage always remembered.

I miss my dog. No matter how stupid or trivial it is to others. He was with me through some very hard times. Now, with out him the troubles just sting more. I miss my boy. Trigger (his name). You weren't just a good boy, you were a great boy. You were unconditional love like I had never known.

This song hurts. I lost my childhood dog, my best friend, to ehrlichiosis from a tick in 2021. We fought it as hard as we could, medication and blood transfusions, but it was too much in the end. It was an extremely traumatic experience and I still grieve for my Earlie girl every single day. Cherish the moments you have with your furred babies, and please, Please keep up with flea and tick prevention. I don't want anyone else to have to experience this pain..

She left my door cracked jus enough that my dog got it open and alerted a neighbor. Dogs are jus amazing and many not worth their love

I feel like they dialed it back for like a finer lighter quality musically even with a more somber sadness to the tone of the song like showing restraint on fancy licks and fills holding back to serve the song and make the vibe resonate more than the technical aspects although it is subtly technical aswell but sparingly
