    it's not the controllers fault over 90% of the the case the battery cant deliver the amps.... writing this before i have watched the video to the end^^

      Yes I knew that the battery wouldn't hold up to pulling the controller, because the cells inside they are not High Drain, they are only for capacity. I changed the controller because the customer wanted a sine wave controller to begin with, and then as soon as he finds money he will also change the battery to high power..

      @@EVCustoms i got the same bike, with 72v 30 ah battery, 3 kw motor, and sabvoton 45A controller and it's good for me, good top speed and battery are holding up even on low charge...

      @@salviaaable My friend you understand for 45a controller don't need something special..
      But for a 400a e-bike you can't buy all the parts at once because of the money (except if you have them) ...
      So our friend start with the controller (it is manageable), then he will upgrade and the other parts (battery, motor, wiring, brakes...)
      The basic here is that the upgrade make it from professional guys EV-CUSTOMS, knows very good what to do and our friend bike works without problems..😉
      That's the fun of a tuning process...
      When you starts never stops...😘

    Definitely love, LOVE the 3D printer. I can see that you didn't really feel comfortable drilling more holes in your frame. That's why I have a big, dorky mount on my fat bike for the controller and wiring. I used 1/2" HDPE and it's kinda heavy. I'll look into those printers. It would make my builds so much cleaner and stronger.

      @tacticooldennis 8 місяців тому +1

      Its not that hard to remove. But it defiantly sucks compared to a normal dirt bike. I've done it at least 3 times. I just lift it up under a ladder, drop the tire down on a blanket and swap the tire. You have to replace the zip ties on the side of the swingarm, but that's the easiest part. Newer ebikes have a disconnect located on the swingarm.

    • @joeblow6756
      @joeblow6756 8 місяців тому

      @@tacticooldennis that would be easier for sure, but for one, if you ur building one of these from scratch, you'd need to have enough know-how to keep that in mind at the start of the build because the way ur describing won't work on some of these bikes that come pre-assembled. Like the ones from ebay or alibaba or whatever. My bike for example that wouldn't be possible. With where the controller is mounted and how snug all the wires are, there isn't even enough leeway for me to get that back wheel off without doing the whole video in reverse. The leads just aren't long enough. And if the swingarm is jacked up on a stand or ladder or whatever, the legnth of the wire is too short that it prevents the wheel from even touching the ground. It's just not long enough if you can believe that. (but wouldn't expect any different if you consider where it was made/assembled lol) Also, if you tug on those hub leads too hard you can damage it in a way that involves having to rebuild the hub to a certain degree. In the whole process, you risk damaging hall sensors if you're not careful or don't know what you're doing. And I've had two flats on this damn thing so I've done the video both forward and in reverse twice already. I told myself that if (when) it happens again, then F this thing and it's getting replaced with a Sur Ron or Talaria or something along those lines. I didn't even mention in the last comment that every time that hub comes off, it needs to be recalibrated or the speed/mileage won't be accurate. You have to do that whole process with putting it in calibration mode and walking the bike 10 feet and that whole nonsense. What a hassle for a flat tire. I wouldn't say it's difficult, but it's an enormous pain in the ass. And completely unnecessary. There's so many better ways. Lately, I'm seeing people using xlr audio jacks as the battery disconnect on some lower voltage bikes. Smart. The thing is that most ebike riders (out here in southern California anyway), aren't very mechanically inclined. They buy these bikes without any knowledge of basic electric/electronic circuitry and could barely change a tire on a non-electric bike. So for the everyday joe schmoe, changing a tire on one of these rear hub motor bomber clones is gonna be a monumental challenge. And most shops out here won't go anywhere near these. So they all wind up getting parted out on FB marketplace.

    • @tacticooldennis
      @tacticooldennis 8 місяців тому

      @@joeblow6756 Yeah I came from both a dirtbike and computer background so working on my Alibaba stealth clone is pretty easy. I just replaced a tube this week, and sure enough a new tire arrived today, so now I'm debating taking the whole thing off again, cutting zip ties fighting the rubber so I can go with a Shinko vs a bald knobby I'm running. I see on the real stealth b52's have multiple connections that separate at the crank. ua-cam.com/video/BUZCH4JWKis/v-deo.html I run a Kenda rear with a ultra Michelin Ultra HD tube cause I hate flats. I still managed to pinch it with a spoon on my last tire change.
