- Hello and welcome to another OMSI 2 video!
Well after a heck of a long wait we’re finally able to take our first drive on Yorkshire Counties 3.0, and I kid you not, this map thoroughly exceeds my expectations!!
We’ll be driving the route 17 today, operated by First South Yorkshire in the Veiling 3, Volvo B8RLE. It’s a winding route which takes us from a housing development into the town centre of Ashbury. The timetable is very well done and I don’t feel like I’m plodding at any point in the route, but at the same time don’t feel like I’m rushing.
Well worth the wait! And I look forward to more.

So that map is payware on Steam?? Very interesting, seeing as it has my passenger voice pack (made in 2013 no less, as part of the Aussie X OMSI community) included, with no permission sought or granted. Almost every male passenger voice (aside from some newly inserted Yorkshire accents) you hear in this, is me! And the female voices are a lady from Liverpool called Babs. :o) I find it extraordinary that a payware product could end up on Steam, that includes (not just references, but bundles) a freeware voice pack, without the owner's permission.
I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t questioned it too... but yes I can confirm it is payware on Steam
@@JoeDobsongaming - Thanks for the reply Joe. I mean to put it into context, I would have agreed for it's use - it's 8 years since I recorded those dreadfully silly accents :o) ...and the sound files owe me nothing ... but to release this to a major platform like Steam, without going through due diligence and seeking permission for the use of existing freeware is a bit off! Enjoy your content BTW!

@@BobC250 This isn't the only one. London also uses them. I think it's pretty poor to be honest that these payware addons haven't recorded new passenger sounds (no offense to you, without these we would have nothing!). Wouldn't be much to get a few voice actors to do them though.
Not to mention they are quite premium in price these steam addons
Hi Joe, Yorkshire Terrier was an actual bus company in Yorkshire, it was a subsidiary of Yorkshire Traction, Which was bought by stagecoach group in 2005, Roadcar was also a subsidiary of Yorkshire Traction too.

That would be a great slogan to put on the side of Yorkshire Terrier buses. "We're practically on time."

As for the passengers standing with seats available, I've noticed that in other simulators. Astragon's Bus Simulator series, PTS by skisosoft, the list goes on.

Yorkshire traction is the bus company in Yorkshire, unless its all stagecoach now.. Its just nice to drive something on the proper side of the road for a change. 🙂 My dad was a bus driver and my mum a clippy, anyone old enough to remember clippies. some of those strong accents are Barnsley by the sound of it. (like me) i wonder if the developer is from that area.
I don't play Omsi 2 so let's just say I think you are doing a great job! Keep it up!

Looks like a great map. I do think Manfred is a bit to nice though, Manfred should be grumpy in any map, it's his thing.
Hi Nice video. When I say that olive Grove depot was a place in the map, I was thinking if it would resemble the real one in sheffield, however it does not. Still a great map. seams to be one of the fastest to load.

Joe "Yorkshire Terrier" & "Hulleys of Baslow" are certainly real life Bus companies or as Yorkshire Terrier were from what I've read what was Yorkshire Terrier is now part of Stagecoach Yorkshire

So the directions icons in this map are pretty good, better than the standard red arrows as such. Are these part of the DLC or is this an Addon that can be found somewhere??

Hi,with the new b8rle,I don't know how to turn the engine on with mouse and keyboard.Unlike the streetdeck,the b8rle doesn't have the engine turn on button.I have the key E to turn engine on but it doesn't do anything.

You have to make sure you have the parking brake on and in neutral then click E, then do that again. I hope that helps you

Oh I believe I use the / key on the numpad for doors 😄 it opens both leafs of the front doors.

When I load up the map it says omsi could not locate the file t_font.bmp

You will have to restart your game as I’ve had that before, I hope this help
Just some background on the bus the vehicle it was recorded from was one of uno Hatfield B8RLE LF18 AWJ but sounds are from all 6 360-365 I'm glad you like too many hours of recording by MS and organising by me
