We went down to Devon last year with our touring caravan, the wife had never been to Devon when we got there, she was taken aback by how hot it was had day trips out to Dawlish absolutely beautiful place especially with the river running through the middle of it, dawlish warren was another beautiful place as well as Painton, she can’t wait to go back to Devon again
We've felt exactly the same about Devon (we actually just got back from visiting it again about an hour ago) and even in Autumn it has such an amazing feel to it. We've never been to Dawlish Warren but having a quick look online now we've already put it on our to-do list, we're curious what it would be like visiting during the colder months or would you recommend it for Summer? We've also never been to Paignton but have visited Torquay, but also want to try going there too - there are too many places to see!
My wife picked our holiday abroad early in the Year as Long as I got to Devon in June the kids fell in Love with Devon. Infact I remember being on a beach abroad and my Daughter was Talking about Devon.and where she wanted to go. Our holidays got Longer in Devon and shorter abroad.
@@MaxwellMoore-d1u We absolutely feel the same way about Devon (and the whole of the UK to be honest). It can sometimes be very easy to miss some of the beauty of our own backyard, a lot of which can just be a few hours away.

@TheWanderingEggs Never been in Autumn or Winter to be honest. Paignton is nice especially the Zoo .Goodrington as well it's called the Torbay area .
