I still have my 1977 Shure M95ED with the original stylus. Had a Linn LP12 and moved it on very quickly. Very overrated but heavy advertisng in the Mags ensured they were highly rated ?? Ridiculously overpriced nowadays.
My first Linn was exactly like the one in this video, with the Rega arm to which I had an ADC headshell fitted with an Ortofon M20FL super cartridge. I do remember Coral cartridges. Nearly bought an MC81 but when I tried one at home I found the treble very fatiguing after a while
I sold hundreds of pairs of AR18s in all their guises. Also 17s which were the same speaker in a bigger box, but sounded better for it. The 25 replaced them but, sadly they weren’t quite as good.
Been considering putting binding posts/banana sockets on my AR18Ss.... chickened out though, they are original , re-foamed and in good order. The caps measure spot on, so I'm reluctant to do anything. Shocked the hell out of my brother how much we got out of them through a Delta 290 and Chord Mojo in my tiny listening room.
to dissolve hot glue you can use something like methylated spits or isopropanol if it's a lot on there and it's not moving after about half an hour then use some acetone on a rag wrap it round the area you want to remove

I had AR7 speakers in the late 70’s. They had a threaded post with knurled nuts to hold the speaker cables on.
