@@RadiantRealty just a little farther... The hike to the camping area at upper Kintla is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Seriously worth it. Bring bear spray 👍
Those mountain views are incredible! What a beautiful place to explore. Some great tips for getting the most out of your visit to this region as well, thanks!
Recently explored the Canadian Rockies in Banff and Jasper National Park and really loved it. Now this is the video inspired me me to visit Montana. Thanks for sharing.
Just wanted to let you know that in regards to exposing the ins and outs of Montana, your videos are the best. We have seen quite a few over the last few months and yours convey a lot of great information and visuals
Wow! Lots of great information in this video! The areas looks stunning and how about that amazing view while enjoying your bear claws.. Awesome! $20 a night seems pretty reasonable to rent that lookout house.. Love your drone shots as well.. Can't believe there's still ice up there! Thanks for sharing! c/t
So excited for you too! We haven't been to MT. Last summer, we visited WY-the Grand Teton and Yellowstone NP and we fell in love with them so we decided to expand our NP visits. Thank you also for the "What to pack" clip. It was very helpful.
Of course, glad it helped. Grand Teton and Yellowstone are amazing as well. Feel free to message me before your trip if you have any last minute questions. :)
Awesome views and huckleberries are delicious having lived in Idaho I'd pick huckleberries about every summer. Great views the Rockies from colorado to montana to Idaho are awesome. I lived in North Idaho in Coeurd'alene.
those are some gorgeous sceneries wow! love the views from the top too! interesting to see snow though hahaha. thanks for the informative tips too! c/t
Are you renting a vehicle? If so, I would opt for one with higher clearance and all wheel drive. I imagine you could drive a compact car, but you would have to go very slow and may hit the bottom of it along the way :( The road varies from year to year, but it's always been a rough ride. The lake is gorgeous though.
Montana is so pretty…gorgeous photos!! That store is so cool…I’m getting hungry looking at all the baked goods…yummy! Love the drone shots! 👍 Are there hornets at Hornet Lookout?? 😬 I think it would be awesome to stay there! Thanks for sharing! c/t
WOW!! This is incredible!! Question, we have a 22ft mercedes camper van... do you think the road to Hornet Lookout is doable in this? Or no? Not sure whether to try it.
We were in Montana a few years ago: sadly we only passed through as we were headed to Yellowstone. This video made us reconsider, we've just added Montana to our bucket list!
polebridge is no longer a secret. was there last week on a wednesday and there wasn’t a parking spot the line was out the building and the north fork entrance was “full”
Oh yeah, I'm certain you could. I talk about doing just that in my "How I Afford to Travel" video. Do you rent your house out on AirBnb or VRBO? Great location for that!
the view is wow ... it leaves you speechless ... if you have a trip through Romania I recommend you to go on Transfagarasan (the most beautiful road in the world) ... you can find a video on our youtube channel ua-cam.com/users/randomtravellers
just a point of interest? who do you consider the "locals"? i lived in Whitefish (except for 4 school years) from 1982 to 2021. "locals" totally changed. totally. gone are the friendly, cordial, fun-loving, car camping young families - replaced by the inconsiderate, arrogant, rude RV crowd. they couldn't be more different. the Flathead valley has been inundated by city folk and their city ways since 2000, getting worse every year. i don't recognize it anymore. alpha wannabes everywhere. thugs.... example (1 of hundreds i could cite).....i was driving Farm to Market road in 2018 taking pics of the beautiful cloud formations that day. they were extraordinary. i stopped roadside by an open field/prairie to snap a few shots. it was a fenced property with a new "mini mansion" on it. as i walked the roadside looking for angles and light, a big truck came screeching down the paved drive and out onto the road. they hastened to my car, and blocked it in - police style. they jumped out of their mega-truck and asked "what the hell are you doing?" they were belligerent. apparently, the roadside is theirs. i was trespassing. could've fooled me. i showed them my camera, pointed to the beautiful cloud formations, and calmly stated i was just taking pics. they wanted to see my pictures. yes....they wanted to see if i was really taking just scenic shots. not sure why the paranoia. not sure why the thuggery on a public roadside. rude and belligerent. but this is not an isolated incident since the onslaught of rudeness began in the new century. this became common. everywhere. these people live in the valley.....but surely are not "locals" in any sense. i see invaders. i see wealthy "settlers" taking over. i see privilege at its worst. i certainly don't see locals. you should have seen the Flathead from years pre-2000. it was very friendly, sleepy, laid back, ski resort and boating mix of friendly communities, from Whitefish to Somers and Bigfork to Columbia Falls. NOTHING resembles that now. it is suburbia personified. all the bad things, in one rude, pushy, angry package of privilege Needless to say...i moved. far, far away. another country. i miss my old playground and the secret places i visited. but i don't miss the new "locals". not one bit. i capped my Glacier years of over 5000 trail miles, over 100 mountain summits, over 100 nights camping the back country, and over 100 floats on the Flathead rivers just to get the hell away from these new "locals". so again i ask. who do you consider locals?
That's so strange. I guess if they moved here from a location with more crime they might be a bit paranoid. I'm glad you made the move to somewhere more suitable to your current needs. Where did you end up moving to?
The Polebridge looks cool and the Bowman Lake isawesome. cool insides from Montana
Those mountain views are stunning and that little cabin is adorable
The drive out to Polebridge is amazing. Went there for Independence Day one year and camped out. Unforgettable experience.
It's really beautiful. We saw so many people camping out there this Summer ;p
@@RadiantRealty I always went thru Polebridge to access Glacier. Quick stops at the little store and off into the wild! My fave spot is Kintla Lakes.
@@gdubbsmotolife9713 good to know. I haven't driven up to Kintla Lake yet. We usually stop at Bowman. ;p

Oh man, those are on my bucket list. It's kind of crazy we haven't been yet. They look amazing!!! Yes, I think you would love Montana as well :p
Over the secret local areas!! Thanks for sharing !! Beautiful!!
It's my favourite way of travelling. Meeting up locals and not always going to places that people has 1,000 photos of already! C/t
Yeah, sometimes it's nice to get that iconic photo but I love to find the hidden gems :)

My families cabin is probably 10 miles up pasted Polebridge. That market is such a gem, love the bakery!
Lucky you ☺️ How long has the cabin been in your family?

Haha, the snow is up there almost all year. Yeah, $20 is super cheap. You have to pack everything in though for your stay.
I love putting around GNP! I'm from Helena, and there are so many little mom and pop shops on the way that are absolute treasures!
So true :)
Amazing! Thanks so much for sharing. We're going to Glacier NP in Aug. We'll surely follow your "footsteps"!!

This was actually taken with my brother in laws drone. We didn't have one when this was filmed. :)

Hmm, I haven't ever seen hornets at the lookout but that's a great question ;p
WOW!! This is incredible!! Question, we have a 22ft mercedes camper van... do you think the road to Hornet Lookout is doable in this? Or no? Not sure whether to try it.
My husband said you probably could but it wouldn’t be fun. 🤪 So that’s probably a no. 😭
Beautiful nature, i like your aerial shots, so how was the tiny toilet is it clean? Hehe
Ha, most definitely not ;p
could have skipped the out house! he he, too funny!
Are all of the covered areas in this video open in late may?
It varies by year, but I think they typically are.

Yay, come visit us!!!
The little white/brown dog at 1:29, what kind of dog is he? I want one....
He's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Highly recommend this breed. So sweet. They do shed though ;p
Montana is so beautiful it almost looks like another planet sometimes. I can't get over shorts + snow. Pretty cool! New subscriber.
Haha, I know. It was July though, but it is strange to see the snow on the mountains still in Summer. Thanks for the sub!!!
polebridge is no longer a secret. was there last week on a wednesday and there wasn’t a parking spot the line was out the building and the north fork entrance was “full”
Yeah, it’s been discovered for awhile now. But I think Hornet lookout should still be quite unpopulated.
Loocks amazing ... may be can exchange temporally my home in Pto. Nuevo Vallarta for some where in montana ...😂😂😂

No secrets for us anymore obviously. Damn tourists.
you ought to see the outhouse at Boulder Pass...
or Swiftcurrent Lookout
far superior to Hornet Lookout😊
Hahaha, duly noted. Thanks for the inside tip. ;p
