Some where in montana the, big bud tractors thrive in their natural habitat. Right now they are in hibernating due to the season, but when it gets warmer and dry they are seen pulling drills across the plains. They seem to be friendly towards some guys known as the welkerfarms. It seems like they trust each other, the buds let them get on their backs and ride in to the horizon.
We found one near our barn. Lead him in for a"brushing", "manicure", " updated "reigns". Looking for fresh signs of the others milling around. 😁👍
Tractorman 8335RT Meanwhile not to far away, the alpha Bud, a gentle giant of sorts, is in hibernation, waiting to receive new shoes from those it trusts. The Buds are a rare breed, only trusting certain humans to care for them, while not very social, the Buds do get along well with other breeds. The Buds prefer wide open spaces, where they have space to roam. The Buds seem to have taken an interesting liking to their caretakers, as the relationship is mutually beneficial, besides cleaning and grooming, the humans give the Buds new coats. In exchange the Buds are glad to work for their caretakers, who give them free food and cleaning. The Buds truly are docile and definitely Gentle Giants
@@CoalChrome Oh the buds are such interesting creatures.
Yall are killing me!😂😂😂
Sadly this is an endangered species, its population is low. Some are kept in captivity by a company known as Big Equipment. They nurse them back to health and keep them for a while before they meet the the ones they trust
Another great video! The 747 lives right up the road from me. Still sad to see all those pieces of history that were up there at Big Equipment. Can't wait to see the restoration from you guys! Thanks for the video!
Great video! I love these tractor restoration video's. Great landscape camera work. It looks like the sky is big in your country.
Take care of your equipment and your equipment will take care of you!
Fact
*does wheelies in skid steer
My dad used to work in sales for Case IH in the late 80's. Those tractors and combines were sooo huge back then or so they appeared! The snoopy tractor (9150) was always my favorite!
That introduction with the drone shots and the song choice was awesome. Nicely done!
It's great to start off the morning with an upload from you guys, can't wait to see the progress on the restoration!
Should get a good week at the shop. 👍
Im only here for the fantastic gopro fusion shot of the combine at the end of the video! Mix more shots like that in please!
Brings back great memories of hours and hours going around and around in the 400/30 pulling the Friggstad. I can remember Bud sending a mechanic down from Havre in a Cessna, watching them land on the county road and taxiing into the yard. Never down more than 24 hours was their promise back then. I loved that machine. Ain't no better way of life.
Hey from Great Falls, hope you guys are enjoying the sunshine as much as we are. The month of -20 was brutal
It seems warm when you go out side. Nice slow snow melt 👍
I love these restoration videos. I liked the big brute videos the old international
Thanks 👍
I"m excited how he"s gonna leave the shop. I mean, you guys at that yard there. Big engines. I have some sort of a strange feeling that you"re gonna surprise us. Do you guys realize what and how amazing you"re doing? Your whole big bud thing is so unique. Let us be part of it, is even more unique. Blessings!
Greetings Gerrit! Glad to take you along. 👍
These videos are awesome! I think the history channel needs to “discover” this and share it to the world. This is just too good for youtube alone!
I can’t wait to see what yalls 1981 525/50 will look like. I could tell she needed some tlc from when y’all took her to the fair. I like the 600/50 too especially with the 414 Trelleborg tires make it look mean.
Nice to see the work on the Big Bud begin.
Back home and working and making noise.
GOD Bless.
Greetings again Scruffy! You got the noise😨 👍
Really cool seeing all those Steigers. Had the pleasure of running one when I was a kid in Louisiana
Great addition of music on this run! Am waiting for the live capture of the bobcat cowboy flipping some outer Bud wheels a 360 up, over, behind, and back on the forks! That'll kick those camera skills up a notch! Hand held, tripod off to the side, drone above! :-)
Nick does a great job in filming. Legarms probably could do a rodeo with the tires.
LOVE the music in this video! Some video you just want to hear the machines and the sounds of farming, but a video like this works great with excellent music choice.
I will try to have a mix of both in the future. thanks!
There is nothing better than to watch farmers refurbish equipment and turn out art that works. Looking forward to the show.
THanks Ed!
wow epic video love the buds glad to see you take care of your machines god bless and stay safe
greetings from pennsylvania
Cool, looking forward to seeing more of your story. God bless you and your family
Carsten, Blessings to you, Thanks 👍
Really digging the rebuild videos..Enjoy the fact that ya'll rebuild instead of constant replacement
Not much gets replaced here.....yet. I'm still employed 😁
Very impressed with your channel guys, loved the restoration of the International truck. I have fond memories of Montana, spending time in Bozeman and around the place. So...I had to subscribe! Keep up the great work.
Thank you!
Nick your videos make me forget about my troubles you're becoming a real cinematographer.
He appreciates your comment, Thanks 👍
Now who would thunk the Welker boys could make Big Bud tractors and a trip to Havre exciting ! Luv It !
Greetings Paul! Who would've thunk the Welker boys would have this big of a channel. Tell Terry hello. Blessings👍
God bless you Nick and your family. Thank you for sharing. I love your videos!!
Beautiful vid loved the music keep up the great work!!🔥👌
Thanks 👍
Your pacing and cuts are on point, your editing is really stepping up a notch. I cant wait to see the end result of the Bud rebuild.
Thanks Boris!
Was a neighbor farmer to Rossi Bros. when they purchased the 747.....was and still is a beast.
Were they the first owners in California?
Yes.... they were the 1st owners in Bakersfield,Ca......I think it was in the early or mid seventies.
Nick your video editing come on a long way man love it AAAAA++++
That is exactly what I was thinking. Always interesting content but I was watching this thinking how nice the shots were as well as the music. Well done!
Yeah, feels like every two videos the production quality jumps. So neat.
These Welker boys can definitely do it all!
Right😎 these guys are killing it with the agricultural videos
Nick appreciate your kudos, Thanks guys 👍
I like how that one Bud you visited had a red band around the cab and went out to wrap the hood. If you could do a similar paint feature using a 2” red and a 2” blue stripe, you would be distinctive and patriotic. Way cool! 😎
There was some Buds with that paint scheme.
“....and later we’ll restore a John Deere skid-steer...”
stoked to see the new content buddy!!!
Looks like we need a wheelie wheel in the back of the steer.😁
@@RobertWelkerFarmerBob lol
Another great video! Your editing skills HAVE come a long way since the first Big Bud restoration videos awhile back. Never a dull moment on the farm! Who's the maniac running the skid steer hahaha!?!?
I think the "steer" is bucking legarms riding him 😁
Great video editing 👍🏻 love the video. Wonderful to see how you restore a Big Bud 💪🏻💪🏻
Thanks for the kudos, Blessings👍
Amazing video! I’d say the 525/50 is my favorite. I’m a fan of the black accent on the cab.
It is a great looking tractor, and especially in its time.
Well that's got me excited to see how you guys get on with the bud. I love walking round scrap yards and yards with old gear in.
We agree. Thinking "what would it take to get it running".
I'm doing it at the moment for a tractor.. well chassis😂 it's not the size of a bud though! European style instead
Do you know what.... I'm a "townie" from the UK, and I thank you for your time and effort making these vids. I wish you every success and happiness. Again thank you for letting me visit you and watch what you do. And I didn't even need to get off by backside.
Whenever I hear an American say "he's crazy" I always think of Catch-22.
I agree with the other commentators as your video skills are really good now but also you have the voice for it too. Reminds me of listening to Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs.
The moment when your self-made ad is almost better than your video, ALMOST, I love Big Buds!
It always amazes me how amazing these machines are and how amazing the Welker’s are.
You're too kind. But agree that after 40 years they still pull their own weight 😁👍
I appreciate you saying I’m kind. Thank you and same to you
Love all the drone footage, and videos!
You've definitely got a leg up over the Cornbinder you just finished up last month, this one drove itself into the shop.
Great video enjoy seeing you work on the big bud great video keep up the great work we still have snow in Illinois it looks like you do t have snow anymore
Yes we have snow but this next week is going to be 50, so much will be melted.
The features on the Big Buds looks awesome. Hope you feature it well as you did on your Binder series.
Should be showroom condition in a couple of weeks.
It looks so cute without the duals! Can’t wait to see how shiny you guys make it.
Should be shiny.
Hey welker’s. I’m new to your channel and love it . I enjoy ur videos . I’m from Wyandotte ,mi 15 mins south of Detroit
Good to see you guys have fun when working
Love your videos. Looking forward to the next installment and the progress on the Bud.
We're looking forward to seeing the new paint and decals. And the upgrade hydraulics.
1:25 that rev of big bud sweet sound
Cool looking forward to seeing you guys restore the Bud. I think legarm is in love. Lol
I loved this video I cant wait for the next one!! Your the best!!
How much would a nice bud like yours cost if you sold it?
*you're
Hogan112233 farms like 150k+
The three buds would be a guess of $60k to $100k each
Big bud 525/50 looks like fun to operate.
It is and especially when rollin' coal
The farmer that built that R&R ripper farmed in between Odessa and Wilbur Washington. A lot of those rippers were used in the fall in this area. They aren’t being used as much today. Farmers are using the casein 2500 ecolotil or the John Deere version. Really enjoy all your videos.
That's cool to know. Thanks for sharing! Blessings 👍
I live in Toronto Canada. A city of 6 million people. Whenever I see your intros, and all that wide open farm land, big sky and fresh air - I just envy the heck out of you guys. I can't even look 100 feet without seeing a shit load of strangers, cars and trash. I need to get the hell out of here!
We do not take for granted the peace which comes with living out on the prairies. It does heal your weary soul.
Hello from Normandie 'France' , nice big bud
Leg Arms hugging the Buds - AWESOME!!
Soft heart with white 😁
With these tires you can build a swimmingpool for your kids... 😉👍🏻
You need to do a sit down with Ron and some of the old crew. Maybe have them out at the farm, talk about your tractors and the Bud story. Keep the Montana history alive. Keep up the good work!
subscribed.... Love these videos and production quality
Missin my home, Havre MT.😥😥😥
Rod's Drive Inn... Home of the Ugly Burger. SOOO GOOD!!!!
Did you know Kenny Flynn Sr?
Wikkitt Klown I’m from great falls
Wikkitt Klown cool man. It’s so weird watching a popular yt channel that’s like 80 miles away from where I live haha
Super excited about videos to come!! Old iron restoration!!!
👍
It's cool to hear the Big Buds rev up like a semi.
They like to roar with excitement when they are slapped on the rear. 😁
We used to run a R&R Subsoiler just like that with anywhere between 7 to 11 shanks on it. It was a literal boat anchor to pull in our hills.
I'm sure it was. It takes a lot of ponies to pull when you hit the plow layer.
Nice content, nice edit, nice soundtrack. The best 9min of the day! Thanks Hollywood!
Glad to help with the 9 mins. Sometimes that doesn't seem long enough.
Great video .If you already covered the circumstances of the fire what video I just remember you getting the hood for the Brute after some fire .Huge lose in all that big machinery . Patiently waiting on the refurbishing videos love this old iron!!
That's right. The hood didn't go through the fire, but sure torched historic iron.
Can't wait for the rest of this series!!!
More coming!
I didn’t even know I liked trucks until I watched the International truck restoration. Let’s see if I end up liking tractors by the end of this series.
I saw another 600 big bud with triples on it pulling the widest air seeder I've ever seen at 214 feet wide... I was impressed.
I've seen that video too. It wasn't a big bud in the video thought.
can you link the video just so I can make sure?
Oh man this is going to be a wonderful journey guys I love the restorations yins do great work keep it up MAY GOD BLESS YOU!!!
Thanks for the blessings Cummins and the kudos again. Blessings 👍
Kinda makes you drool huh‼️ Such beautiful machines no matter how old👍❗️❤️❤️
Still look at them with satisfaction.
Sauve aqui do BRASIL, somos uma potência agrícola assim como vcs aí, Falouuu
you are getting really good at flying that drone!
Nick can fly it very well.
Love these vids. Keep up the awesome work. 👌👌
Thanks Trudy 👍
Loving it Nick! Can’t wait for more
👍
I use Simple Green to clean my vehicles and I am going to try Jax Wax Citrus as soon as it warms up. I will let you know how it works. On the farm we used a steam cleaner which worked great on the combine.
The steam works great. Tough to see when the air is cold though.
Such a great channel. I have found myself in your UA-cam hole for many hours of my day.
Glad to hear it! Thanks for sharing
Love it and looking forward to watching more! 😁👍 So proud of how hard you guys work and use your gifts and talents for God’s glory.
Lisa!!!!!! My ❤ jumps with joy! Miss you much and glad you are part of the farms. Love Dad
Hi Nick. I see those machines are still being stored outside through the winter. Would it be a practical idea to pull the drain plugs on the diesel tanks on the N-14 435, before you
start seeding, and make sure there is no water getting into the diesel tanks still? That was the 1971, the one you rebuilt a couple of years back, and you had to do a couple of
injectors last spring because there was a crack in the one tank and water got in there through last winter. I'm sure you welded that crack closed, but it might be worth the time to
check that, and make sure there still isn't a problem there.
You bet. It will get the plug pulled to see any water collected in the tanks. don't want to go down that road again
Goes to show you don't need new tractors all the time!! Think of the money saved fixing them up to keep them reliable for many many more hours!!! Good job!!
Hey guys. Looks like you was getting there slowly. I will have to say that those tires were almost as big as the ones on the combine.
Great video guys, I can't wait for part 2!!
Well, we better get to work 😨..............😁👍
The Steiger tractors were built about 30 minutes from our farm
I'm kind of partial to Steiger. Lots of good memories.
I'm excited for the Bud restoration. Drove several Rome's and Versatiles but never got the chance to drive a BB.
Cool that you got to drive a Rome.
OHH YEEAAHH ITS HAPPENING!!!! Your editing has come a very long way! Looks way different than the other videos!
Making some changes I think will be for the better! But hard to say quite yet. Still gonna have a time lapse but it might not be as epic as big brute or the second bud restoration.
i have a question. Are there bud tractors with a rear lift? How do you pick up implements or do you have a lifted trailer. Or just towing implements? love your videos, keep up the good work. :)
Totally!!! Agree!!!! Nice Video!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks much 👍
Awesome! Looking forward to this series!
👍
Can’t wait to see it done
It’s never long enough !!! Awesome video
Thanks!
It looks like leg arms would be happy with another series 2 big bud. If you could find a HN250 in need of a lot of TLC for the price of scrap it be fun to watch it get back into a running tractor in the winter of 2019/2020. It could be your truck, from scrap to museum quality in the matter of months. Keep up the great work and stay safe around this big equipment. I appreciate your sharing these great videos and I hope that grain prices jump to allow you to empty the other building (plus it will make anther video series).
Never know .... that might take place. Agree on the grain price. Would love to have more storage. Blessings
I love that 600/50 big bud big tires.
👍
When is Farming simulator Welker farms 19 going to come out or has it.
This BUD is for you! Nice vid!
👍

Yes, big bud getting worked on✔️
Yup. Should look good.
Amazing video.. watching your videos motivates me to work on my own stuff lol
Oops, Sorry 😨. Blessings 👍
Yeah great edit w/ uplifting vibe. Just what the doctor ordered!
Glad it brought some joy, Blessings 👍
I've never seen such a creative way of advertising a product XD
Sure, give dad the dirty work!👨🏻🦳
Great vids keep up the awesome work good job on the semi restoration btw !
We'll do 👍
I love the restoration videos!
👍
