I have a 261 and currently waiting for my 500i from Ripsaw lol. Ordered in March. Hopefully I get mine before the worst of hurricane season in Florida! My 261 is stock but I have West Coast Saw air filter with an outerwears pre filter over it (helps a lot with fine dust), WCS felling dogs, clutch cover, and their universal exhaust port. It gives my friend's 362 a run for its money. Great backup saw.
Even though it wasn't an even test, not even if the 500I was bone stock. You have to admit for what it is the 261 is an awesome little firewood saw. I've seen a few of the Ripsaw ported 500's on youtube and they all look like they do in fact rip. Me, I'm just flying stock and I've been pretty happy with mine.
Absolute badass saw.
Hello Sir, thanks for sharing this video. Which Chain are you running on the ripsaw 500i ? Greetings from Germany
Ripsaw site now says "Current lead time: ~6-8 months from date of purchase."
That’s probably more accurate than what they had on their website at the time I ordered.
7 months dang check iut the video indiana doug made comparing the ripsaw against stock
That saw was not a ripsaw. Only a fool would believe what a competitor of them says. Clearly Egan made that video to promote himself.
Ok, everybody talks about porting but no one says whether intake or exhaust or both... Soooooo, which one??? Also, what about polishing???
This saw receives a base cut and squish cut, upper transfer, lower transfer resize and reshape, removal of blemishes on the intake, full resize, reshape and polishing on the exhaust, muffler work. Let us know if you need any info!
@@TeamRipsawUSAgreat info! What order number are you currently working on?
I’m glad they didn’t Stihl your money.

Damn run your saw over 3 times
I tried to mail mine to them and they turned me down and it's a new saw
@@joshuasweet1532Hey Joshua, as long as the saw is listed on our website and in new condition we are accepting saws for mail in mods!
@TeamRipsawUSA ok thanks ...things must have changed in the last few months
I purchased a ported echo outta walkers saw shop. I waited alot longer than what they had said as well which I understand they are busy. The great thing about them is I didn't pay a cent until they called and said it was finished. Very happy with the service and the saw.
