- This is my hair growth time lapse - 1 year and 3 months (15 months) of hair growth. In this video, I have photos and videos of my hair growth journey. I always had short hair all my life and I wanted to try something different so I decided to grow it out. Time really does fly! When growing out your hair, you will experience an awkward stage, which is a time period when your hair looks weird at a certain length wear its not too short but not too long as well. Just fight through this stage because it will look better when it gets longer, its just a matter of time. I hope this video inspired some of you guys to grow out your hair. @Twisted Ragdoll no he won't, not all people grow there hair slow like yours, I can grow my hair fast, my hair doesn't take year to grow and it doesn't take mouth to grow and it also doesn't take weeks to grow, my hair takes days to grow, like.. As example.. If I shaved my head completely bald and waited it till it grow, it takes 3 days for me to get a normal size medium hair and 3 more days so my hair looks a little bit long.. And 3 more days to look a normal long hair that can reaches till my jaw, and another 3 more days so my hair can reach till my shoulders so that means it takes me 9 days to grow a long hair that can reaches till my shoulders, look.. Not all people grow there hair sadly slow, some people grow there hair pretty much fast, and some people grow there hair sadly slow, and Travis rice already have a long hair, so why are you telling him that he will regret it if he already have a long hair? I have similar hair, thick and voluminous, but mine is dry and has too much frizz it kinda sucks
@ there are solutions to that. U should regularly condition, shampoo once a week, use oil and if it still doesn't work then u can always go for more aggressive chemical products

Keep growing! You’re almost out the awkward phase. Once you hit 2-2.5 years you’ll become a god. I wouldn’t get a fade that’s a waste. Long hair is so much hotter on certain guys especially young guys.

We have literally the exact same hair texture, it was always difficult for me to style it bc it was so puffy and voluminous. Then I found out other people were in the same situation and that I actually have curly hair but have been treating it like it was straight hair. The way you care for straight and curly hair are SO different, you should do some research and maybe you find you have some curls. I have 2b hair so maybe yours might be the same.
It prob sounds crazy 😂😂 but it’s true I was so surprised bc I’d always air dry but I had never seen any signs of curls but it’s also the products you use and how you put products in
I was also reading some of the other comments and I think you talked about having split ends. Sulfates, silicones, parabans are all terrible for curly hair bc curly hair is so much drier than straight hair and all those chemicals dry your hair out so much and have been linked to a lot of damage, especially split ends.
I think I do have 2b type hair, that's crazy how we have the same type of hair! Also, I heard that exercise can increase hair volume. I'll do more research about hair, and I'll make videos about these topics later on.

I haven’t cut my hair since May. Videos like this keep me motivated. My has the same volume and thickness as yours. So you can imagine what it’s like at my current stage.
Oh we started at similar times, i started at the end of may, basically the start of june, rn progress is looking pretty slow though. my end goal would be shoulder length or just a full man bun ig, either way i ll probably keep going

Well, your dreadlocks had tons of hair in them that weren't actually connected to your head. Maybe if you cut your hair short and let it catch up with itself it would feel a bit better.
