Macrame is a technique of knotting a rope. There are many kinds of macrame knots that are known in the macrame world. In this video I will discuss 16 types of knots that are often used in macrame, which are as follows:

I have just started to learn macrame and this video is an excellent tutorial to learn many different knots. I am doing just a few each day over and over again, then I will move on to the next few and so on. I am using thick round laces as a practice material, if I can get the knots to look neat with those, it will be even better when I use the proper cord (well that's my theory anyway lol).
