C'mon! Where's everyone at? This movie is a fan favorite. We all fell in love with this film. The party scene with Cher grandstanding, and Brittany's character hit in the head with a clog.
@@80sLife a lot of time, it's the algorithm and the video title. Less is more in the title. The more superfluous (extra) words you use in the title, the less searches it comes up in. Capital letters mostly. Just having words like "80slife" and "then and now" in your title can be a killer. An example would be: CLUELESS (1995) Filming Locations 4K
Thanks for your work on finding those locations, I do enjoy your content! You made my day! Blessings from Puerto Rico, hoping to go over to California once the pandemic is gone.
If you guys were a teen or like 30 and under when this came out you have no idea how big this movie was. For some reason it shook everything up. It changed lingo and was talked about everywhere back then. Nothing will ever beat the 90s. I was 5 when this came out snd I watched it with my older brother and babysitter and I always imagined high school being like this because it was back then
A vast majority of the lingo used in the film was being used by valley girls and mall rats in the 80s and was almost a cliche at the time the movie came out.
I grew up on the west side and attended high school from '88 to '91. I spent a LOT of time in or around Beverly Hills, even going back to the seventies when I was a small child. This film really captured the shallow culture on display in the 80s and 90s. It captured Beverly Hills and the cushy West Side in much the way Fast Times captured the average Southern California High School and all its drama in the early 80s. In the mid 90s days the ONLY kids who had mobile phones were rich kids. This also did a lot to filter out the rest of the world. For the most part Beverly Hills kids did not associate with anyone outside of their circle, especially if they came from uber rich families. Of course, there were exceptions, but not many. I lived in Brentwood at the time and came from a rich family, lived in a huge house, and a lot of BH kids thought I was beneath them. Just the way it was.
This is what I call a guilty pleasure, I liked it as a kid but didnt want my friends to know I like chick movie as teenager. Come to find out later most everyone enjoys the movie. :)
They shot at Westside Pavilion on Pico. I moved to LA to attend USC months after it came out and distinctly remember first getting off the 10 and going to the mall from the flick.
So weird that most of these houses are all covered up nowadays. If I had a house that beautiful I would 100% show it off. I mean I get that it might be so people won’t photograph their houses all the time but i’ve noticed some of the other houses in the video covered up too
@@80sLife truely amazing...hope you got my message..I am from hometown of Walt Disneys grandpa and grandma..same hometown of Walter P. Chrysler..more to tell sometime..
Yeah Beverly Hills 90210: The College Years was filmed at Occidental City College as well. It was the fictional California University in the show though.
Like your videos but you were wrong on the half pipe location. They actually were by Lions Lighthouse on the other side of the wharf. You can tell by the Wheel Fun Rentals building. The shot you see is the back side and not the front.
a lot of people don't realize that North Hollywood, Encino, Van Nuys, Venice, Woodland Hills, Eagle Rock, Palms, Sherman Oaks etc are neighborhoods in the City of Los Angeles and are not separate cities not like Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Culver City or West Hollywood Etc, which are their own cities. To help out you should start saying this scene was shot in the City Of Los Angeles neighborhood Tarzana ect. Cheers great videos
My top 5 fave movies. It is a lil disappointing Cher’s house is so blocked off. I’m probably the only one who didn’t care about where the “freeway” was shot 😂 and it seems like they probably demolished the house where the party was and that’s why it looks totally different?
Excellent tracking video.

I gotta tell ya, I was pretty shocked by the was the video performed. Clueless is classic.
Great show!
Gives me hope for Hollywood culture
Poor turn out, less than 6K. Even his Blood In Blood Out filming location videos from three days ago already has 15K views.

That closest bike at 3:02 looks like it's been there a while considering BOTH wheels are missing and the grass has grown up around it!
Looks like it's been there ever since the movie was filmed.
Thanks for doing clueless such a great movie I hope you do more 90s movies
My pleasure. Thank you. I will!

That's so cool. I've been to Shoreline Village in Long Beach many times and spent a few nights on the Queen Mary even!
I used to work right down the street from where that clown liquor store is at. Would see it everyday. Cool sight.

Was she cool?
@@80sLife Yes she was! She asked me if I knew where the Macy's men's store was lol.
Pretty cool, not to much has changed since it was filmed in 1994.

Haha. I swear I stopped
It's called a California roll
Alpha Dog and Can't Hardly Wait would be cool to see.
More 90’s movies please!
Actually they were on a freeway/Highway, yes it wasn't the 405, but the 710 overpass on Ocean. It is in Long Beach as you said.
My friend and I had a huge crush on Alicia Silverstone!!!
Last Halloween a girl came dressed as Cher in the yellow suit. Best costume of the night.
Was 15yrs old when this came out. A great 1st date movie when trying to impress girls.Lol
Thank you for watching

that's so cool to have met your future wife in a Clueless filming spot. I heard Ben Affleck also went to Occidental
Thank you.. it will always be special to me. And yes he did go there.
Also Barack Obama.
That was also the college in 90210 when they finally graduated from high school
My mum retired from OXY...tell us stories of all the movies and TV shows being filmed there
