It's so pretty! I hadn't thought of buying discounted pieces in a regular store. The plate, bowl, and dipping bowl are perfect for a garden scene. The addition of blue gems in crystal really finishes the feeder. Lovely!
I heard the catbird in the background. 😂I love my catbirds. They warn me when cats or dogs are on my property. I have an outdoor stray cat, who is cool, but I don’t want any others in my yard, nor a dog. I also talk to the catbirds, people probably think I am nuts. They will mew, then I will mew back to them. 😂😂 Beautiful bird feeder. I am trying to figure out something to do in my garden. 😊
I’ve seen all of your videos and am so impressed with your talent! I am wondering if you’ve had issues with the clear JB Weld?? I love putting together pieces with primarily clear textured glasses and I’m concerned that the grey adhesive would show too much. Thank you! I’ve learned a lot and love your kitties!😁
Thank you! So far JB weld clear has worked well for me. I have also used the gray because it is supposed to be even stronger. But I only use it where it won't show, like between solid color dishes and on my birdbaths. Have fun making yours! ♥
@charter.ner. Thats Hubby in photo. I,m a quilter _ & I love all the details that you gave us, especially all the info about the glues- which i found facinating !! the beauty of your creation is Simply Stunning. Just gorgeous!!. I had no idea PW had sooo many pretty dish patterns- reminded me of gorgeous fabric. You knocked this video Out of the Park ! Congratulations!, fondly Tricia
Oh thank you! You are so sweet to say this. I LOVE pioneer Woman dishware because of the pretty patterns and I can see why you would like it since you are quilter! : )
Does the JB weld stay clear over time? How long have you had a flower you’ve made outside in the elements? What extreme of temperatures? I saw someone that drilled the glass & used long screws to hold everything together but hope not to go that route! Thanks for the videos! Love your work!
Thank you! I have flowers that have been outside for almost a year and the epoxy does yellow a little bit, more so it seems in the sun. I think that GE silicone might be another option to use. I've been working on an adhesive experiment, and that seems to be working well. I don't like drilling glass either and avoid it when possible : )
Have you had any issues with any of the clear epoxies turning yellow over time?! I remember years ago it would do that but I’d like to think they’ve improved since then. Just curious, beautiful things you’re creating. I’m so inspired to start my own garden decoration project!! Thanks 😊
I have seen some yellowing when it is in the hot sun. I am going to try the marine epoxy to see if that makes a difference. Also, the GE silicone seems to work well. I have been working on an adhesive experiment and will have results in a couple of months : )
What about all of the toxic chemicals in all of those glues and epoxies... Won't they harm the birds? Even when they are dry they still emit toxic chemicals and there's no way you can ensure that the bird seed will not touch the dried glue.

❤ how much do you think something like this would’ve cost you in supplies and how much could you resell those for?
I'm not sure, it depends where I get them from. Some days I get better deals than others. I don't keep track because I don't sell them ; )
How do you keep the squirrels off of your beautiful bird feeders?
I have a squirrel feeder across the yard so they are full : )

@@MyLittleSliceofParadise ok good to know!! Thank you!
Beautiful! Do you ever use silicone?
I will be using silicone more in the future. I've been experimenting with adhesives and silicone seems to work very well.
How many cats do u have. See diff. Ones in each video. Do u sell your creations? How do u price them?
I have four cats : ) I don't usually sell, but do give them away to family and friends ♥

I think it will be fine with dry epoxy and dry food. I would worry more if there was water on top of glue.
