- Here's a little clip of 2 songs that I always enjoy to play on whatever instruments that I can play!!! It's based on Larry's Conger version of the songs.
It's played on my new McSpadden Ginger dulcimer and recorded on the new Zoom Q3 HD.
Video image and sound quality is much better in HD than the old regular Q3....totally worth upgrade!!!
Thanks for watching and comments are welcome.
this is very good thank you soo much
A Christmas song and a smash hit by Simon & Garfunkel all in one video.
Great and beautiful rendition. Very evocative. I can feel myself sitting under a tree in the "olden days" listening to this with joy. Thank you; you're very talented and your music is beautiful.
crisp, pleasantly crisp
Thanks a lot. I really have to make a new vid on dulcimer since I have a few more that I practice for a while but I'm just too lazy to sit and make a video!!
woah thats so cool!
Excellent, I'm very new to the world of dulcimer, you make it look so easy. Would recommend the McSpaddend Ginger Dulcimer? I hope you make another video.
Awesome! Is this an instrument that you built personally? It has a Uke neck appearance compared to other Dulcimers that I have seen. Tell me more please. Thanks! I was planning on building one after I saw a friends original build and this looks alot simplier to do. Info please...Nice play brother! Thanks, Joe
Beautiful!! Thank you! Questions: what's that metal thing mounted up near the nut? And, do you tune higher on your Ginger because of the shorter scale length? My daughter needs a second dulcimer that she can tune to E - B - E so she can sing certain tunes that are too low in D.
That's a capo (wood) made by Ron Ewing.
What kind of strings are on your ginger dulcimer?
This uke is not a custom one. It's the Ginger model from McSpadden. It's a ''scale down'' size of a standard mountain dulcimer. I really this one since it has the dulcimer tone and sound but in smaller size so I can bring it with me everywhere so easily...and it's easier for my small hands too!
thanks once again for your kind words!
