Those who say Soyeon is a better dancer than Yuqi are lying to themselves. Yuqi's techniques are just superior. Like her moves 1:40 are just perfection.
Soyeon is an all around better dancer than Yuqi especially when it comes to idle choreographies. She's usually the one with the strongest and most detailed execution. That doesn't mean Yuqi isn't a good dancer, but she shines more in individual choreos than idol dances. Yuqi executed this particular step better, yes, but Soyeon is overall still stronger
@@Faeriiexx Exactly, Soyeon have long history in dancing and she's basically dancing her whole life. She started ballet and won tons awards for it, she stopped ballet in 3rd grade because she saw bigbang and wanted to pursue similar path. Attended dance academy after that, then became street dancer and competing and joining dance battle competition, she said she's into hip hop and popping. She also revealed in koms some of dance style she does. She's part of idle choreographer along with soojin since debut. I remember when idle debuted, ppl were fighting and comparing sj&sy for main dancer position. In her 3 missions in p101 soyeon got the dance break in two missions, the one mission is about rap so... If they also look in idle choreography, soyeon have a lot of dance break. When they had a collab with the boyz and skz soyeon also ended up dancing the dance break along with other bg members from that groups. She have to tone down a bit her dancing skills since cube choreographers can't give them powerful(like other 4th gen gg) choreography since they consider other members, I remember when she said she wanted a song with a dance break and powerful choreo but other members said no. That's why I love it when other bg or groups& soloist who have powerful choreo asking soyeon for dance challenge. My point is, we are not lying we have solid proof just watch their debut busking, new york busking, soyeon dance performances. Again the fact that she was street dancer and part of idle choreographer speaks volume. This comment is too long but whenever I have opportunity to say all these I do this 😂
