A very well made video to understand the camera. Only if you were to enable ADAS and show all the options there, it would have been a complete video.

Does the CPL filter improve video quality? There are a lot of suggestions online to buy them for the A810. Also, is the CPL filter attachable to both front and rear cameras? From the comparison photos of with and without filter, I guess the rear camera quality might improve if it supports the filter.
CPL filter removes the glare and reflections from dashboard, hence giving a more clearer video. CPL is attachable only to front camera in A810. Rear CPL is not available.

Hi i really like your video and i have purchased the 70 mai A810 4k dash cam. I have a question regarding it. We are only able to see video once we are near to car and connect with dash cam wifi. Is there a way i can access my dash cam sitting at home, as wvery time to access video i have to go to parking which is 50 mtrs from my floor. Please advise
No you cannot access videos while sitting at home. You have to be in range of dashcam's wifi hotspot.

The wifi hotspot is not connecting and it is due to the presence of car media player wifi. So i have to keep the car off and use a power bank to start the dashcam.
Why don't you disconnect the wifi from the car media player within the wifi settings?

Both record simultaneously. You never have to choose anything.
For emergency recording, both record simultaneously and in a separate folder so that the emergency file doesn't get deleted.

If someone or something bumps your car from behind. Or while taking reverse you bump into something, having only a front camera will be practically useless to use as evidence. No one can guess from which direction the next accident/incident might happen on the road. So it is safer to have rear camera as well than only front camera, unless you are extremely tight on budget.
It's better to have it and never need it, than not have it and face a situation where it was needed the most.

You cannot. In order to access the recordings, you either have to be connected to the camera or you have to insert the sdcard into your pc/laptop

You have to be in the car connected to the hotspot of the dashcam.
Does it have voice control? Does it have Android Auto integrated, to be able to view the recorded videos from the car screen? Or any dash cam that has a similar system?
No voice control, and the app is not compatible with android auto. You can view the recorded videos from the car screen by installing the 70mai app on your car system. You can access the dashcam through the app. But this wont work if you are using Android Auto.

6:05 It seems like extended cam image doesn't do anything. I thought it was for PIP or something, but I tried it on and off and don't see a difference. The manual doesn't explain it either.
When you take a picture, it takes a picture from the rear camera as well I guess. Have you tried that?

I tried it today. All it does is mirrors your rear-cam video. I don't like mirrored video recording, so I keep this feature off.
How do you sync in editing the front camera and the rear one?

A810 takes up about 300MB/min of file size. So for 128GB card, it may take about 5-6hours of footage. For 256GB, 10-12 hours of footage

The built in battery doesn't power the dashcam. It needs to be plugged in to 12V socket to run.
Hello. I have this camera and I noticed some details that are not interesting: 1- When the rear camera is installed, the 4k resolution drops to 25fps. which causes crashes in the video. 2- It is not possible to activate HDR at 1080 60fps. Would there be an update to make this correction?

Probably not. Recording 4K HDR @30fps by itself puts pressure on the processor along with increased heat generation. Adding 60fps support will amplify that effect and may damage the camera. So I don't expect any update regarding your concern.

What you are referring to is timelapse mode. Select normal recording or buffered recording within the app settings of the camera and turn off timelapse recording.

In terms of features and quad cam setup, definitely the Vantrue N5, but its very expensive compared to the A810. So in terms of pricing, A810 is better.
