This was helpful thank you tryna make The Joe and any way of playing a Minecraft version of hockey? Also your zamboni doors, thats awesome feature props!
I have tried to do a sort of hockey in Minecraft but it depended on the players throwing the "puck" across the ice. I think to actually play hockey in Minecraft it would have to be in Java edition where the mods are a lot more complex
I'm gonna take a guess here, but is this based on the MedStar Capitals Iceplex in Arlington? If so, you did an amazing job! ^^ Either way, this is a great build. TYSM for the tutorial!
Probably not. Every arena is different, my best advice is to go to an arena and take lots of pictures of every area, or find pictures online, and use those as a guide/inspiration
No imo it really doesnt. I've made a ton of ice rinks before and my first few I used carpet bc the ice blocks werent see thru on Pocket Edition and it just looked weird bc the carpet was extruding out from the ice. Plus it wont play right with carpet bc whatever you throw onto the ice as a "puck" will get stuck on the carpet and wont slide. I use concrete under the ice for all those reasons and bc its more realistic
Why would I show what the whole thing looks like after each step? And the way I made the video was on purpose so that you'd have to pause after seeing each step so you could do it yourself

This was awesome thanks
Thanks. Just getting into hockey and want to make a perfect arena.
Glad I could help
I did the rink in the wall instructions, but I made the glass of glass blocks and I customize into an indoor arena Soon
i like how the ice you put in is smoother than fuel tank's
Any chance you have a video tutorial on the benches, seats, penalty boxes, etc?
Thanks bud
Will u make a totoreal on how to build the arena/seating part?

@@Dodger24 I wanna do it baised on how you are doing it though
Very nice and useful tutorial .... :D
For the 19 blocks wide did you use white concrete
Yep, all the paint under the ice is colored concrete
You play for the Huntsville chargers?
You need Command Blocks to open Doors now?
Only the Zamboni doors since those are made from blocks and not actual doors
👍
Isn’t there a hockey rink in Escondido, California named Iceplex
Idk maybe. I dont live in California, far from it actually
Your ice is so much more see through the. Mine
Imagine you use Skaters by team wooloo
Lol when u fast for word it sounds like a ziper going up and down lol
Funny thing about that, someone tried to copyright claim that exact sound on this video
Boards are actually one block tall from the ice
Did you watch the whole video? He puts ice on top of the markings and it makes it one block away from the ice
TheRandomVideoStation no I didn’t watch i the whole video cuz I thought it was bad
@@ajax9836 That's why you don't comment before watching the entire video, you miss out on crucial information
I play hockey
Don’t use ice if its inside. It should melt.
4:04 marking where i am 5:08
TIP: If you the put carpet over the ice it looks better, trust me

Oh, I guess it depends on what version you’re on, I’m building TD Garden on the Xbox 360 and I personally think it looks good
BTW, for me whatever you use as the puck doesn’t get stuck on it (Again, I’m on Xbox 360)
I put carpet on top of glowstone so the ice glows
You are to fast!!!!!
Where’s the goal nets
Too fast and doesn't show what it looks like after each step
