You're a great mother and fighter. Kids are stronger than we imagine, obviously some more than others. That was a great reaction from them. You have a beautiful family, young lady!🙏🇺🇸💪💯👊
Buetiful family. I have been a fan of yours since your Strikeforce days. Your comeback is an inspiration to your fans and you are setting a great example for your children, especially your daughter. Keep at it!
I think that showing them the owie and also showing that you’re calm about it is good, it’s reassuring. If you were freaking out and crying, that would scare them but demonstrating a positive, secure demeanor will show them that mom is ok. It shows them that mom is strong and can overcome anything. It is a great example for a boy that mom is a professional and strong and overcomes obstacles, which helps shape his view of women. It’s also great for a girl to see that she too can overcome anything, just like mom.
Miesha, I thought that was incredible that you and your fiance were not afraid to show your eye off to your kids. It really made me well up! You fought a great fight that I was honored to watch. In my mind you both won! Reminded me of why I am a big fan of yours! Looking forward to watching more and more fights down the road.... keep it up!
@@MieshaTateUFC I like the feeling of sarcasm from the comment lol. It's funny and genuine with the 🙇♀️❤ 👍🏼 I'm looking forward to you winning next time. Is it okay to say you look in the best shape of your life..? Back from retirement and you look physically stronger than before which is amazing.
“Owy!” That says it all. You could see Jackson looking and thinking about the difference in mommy’s face. Johnny explaining, “Mommy’s owy!” gave him the perfect understanding. It’s a precious clip! 💓 Good job, Miesha! Looking forward to seeing Amaya’s reaction in next video! Cute how she was there supervising Jackson’s visit. Thank you for your generosity with your fans!
It's always good to raise our children to embrace the realities of living, in a positive light. I got hurt fighting a fire once and was pretty nervous about having, at the time, my 3 year old daughter, seeing me all banged up to hell and gone. Well... I had pretty much the same experience you did. A lot of curiosity. Some questions. But kids are sponges. There's a lot they can learn that will stick with them and carry them forward in a good way, if we approach it right with them and demystify things for them. She wasn't very old, when she became aware that I could actually get killed doing my job. We had some interesting conversations, about life... and death... and the reality that, on a future date uncertain... we're all going to die... that we don't live forever physically on this Earth. And that led into a great conversation we had over the time she was growing up, about making our time we DO have, count for something WE can feel satisfied with. Like spending time with people we care about. Like time doing someone a solid, without them even realizing it was us. Like, intelligently risking a lot, to help a lot. Like challenging ourselves to reach our dreams and make them reality. Kids are just amazing at what they can grasp and understand... sometimes better than we, ourselves, understand. You're doing great, Miesha. :) You're succeeding in the home, which is the first place we need success, if anything we do outside of the home is to be of any worth. :) Keep it up!
I hit send a little early on that comment before, also wanted to include that you’re a badass Mama and I appreciate you sharing your story and you hit the nail on the head on all points! Thanks for following my journey
God Bless you and your family Miesha !! As a father of four I think kids read emotions more than looks and you were not emotional so they think you just have a boo boo and no big deal.
I have my daughters watch you videos because you are such an inspiration to them. Thank you from a father of two. You are so much more the an awesome fighter. The three of us will be following on your journey back to the belt 👍🏽
This reminds me of an accident that happened to my dad. While he was working he was hurt and got a huge scar on his face that require multiple stitches. My mom recently told me that when he got home they were worried that I was going to cry since I was 4ish at the time but apparently I thought he had some sort of mask on and that I was asking for one as well 😂 wishing you the best of luck ❤️🙌
Love Ya soo much your one of the most beautiful and toughest in the world I cant wait to see you back in title contention I know thats why you came back ,to get your belt back..
You healed via teleport? It looks like you stepped into a time machine and just went right back to where you were before the fight. That was fast!! Children are like truth serum. They will always know when you’re withholding something. Going about it like this is a healthy, mature approach. It will only nurture their growth.
Such a tough thing as a parent but I feel it’s good for them to see what it’s like to show good sportsmanship and handle a loss. In life there will inevitably be a set back or something won’t go as planned and kids need to be ready for how to push through that.
Miesha, I have been following you since the win against Ronda. I've gotten to know the kind of person you are, both inside and outside the ring. I hold you in the highest regards. You are an outstanding human being and deserve nothing but the highest amount of respect. Keep it up girl. You are born to fight and inspire others!! A true warrior at heart.
Keep grinding on this, Miesha! I do feel sorry about you from the fight, I'm sorry that have to feel so "hurtful!" You're a great mother and a great fighter, and hopefully, the clearing can be clear! Hang tight Miesha, you're the embodiment of belief!
Miesha you seem like a wonderful mother. Im shocked that you don’t have a huge following on this platform. That’s kind of cool that means you will be able to see all of your fans comments.
Your kids are strong as you Meisha, they are much stronger than anyone can imagine, but you have to stay strong my dear no matter how many times you fall just get up and chase your goal, we all want you to grab the world championship again🤗🤗. I am happy that all your wounds are healed. Stay safe and healthy Cupcake 💪💪💪💪💪💪
Saw you keep glancing ro see your children, loved it. Youre a great mom first and foremost and thats how it should be now. You fought hard vs LM, but that comes at no surpirse at all because you always have given it your all. Best wishes to you Cupcake!
Miesha, I love the way that you handled this. Mom Champ! I'm always stoked when I get a notification from your channel. Your blogs are awesome! You have such a beautiful family! 🥰🧁🥰🧁🥰🧁
You are amazing, strongest women. Been following since you fought Marloes for the SF title. Really supported and backed you on few MMA websites... win or lose will always root for you Miesha. Now let’s get back on track and get this next win. 😊
Can't imagine looking over at my lady and seeing her face like that. Respect to him for the emotional maturity to support you, rather than make it an ego thing. Find myself feeling for you friend - stay strong!
Soon enough they will just be asking what the other chick looks like. You're just showing your kids that you're a warrior is all and they already know you as such anyways. I knew my dad was for as far back as I can remember as a child so none of that kind of stuff surprised me at all. It would have only bothered me if I felt that it bothered him but he never displayed such so life just kept rolling as normal in my mind.
Love it! To be honest, the biggest problem with this generation of children/youth, is they are shielded from reality for fear of, just that, fear! Take a beating and come back stronger! Love ya Cupcake!
When I see your recent videos I can't help but imagine *somewhat* similar (but disturbingly different) domestic violence scenarios in other households.
Wow isn't that a bit random to say. What I mean is it's about Meishas kids reaction to her battle scars. So I'm not sure why you would bring up domestic violence. I'm sure you're not alone with those thoughts but since that's not what this is, it's just not something I think is okay to say. No disrespect to you it's just the wrong time to say that.
