I am from army background and seen for years SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION army personnel who didn't get pension. Some of them selected for permanent commission and others went out without pension. No money compared to whatpaid to agniveer today. As such pay for all was very less. No veterens stood for it and now like mushrooming veterans talking against the govt. Is it Chandigarh lobby?

Whatever I have gathered after talking to many many UP cadre . Essentially it was revolt against Amit shah in UP , the SP highlighting - promotion of Gujrati Business men in getting major tenders in Ayodhya and Varanasi and other cities somewhere demoralised UP Cadre . So disenchantment resulted in cadre not coming out to counter “khatakhat” and abolishment of reservation resulted in such loss .
