He must be thinking so much. About how Moon could go to these lengths for Solar, yet he abandons Sun and the whole family just for Solar as if they aren't as important, even being okay to kill them
I have a feeling it's because he connected more with Solar cuz he basically knew Solar as some of the first few people in his life. Specially since Solar was like i think the 3rd person he met+he spent a lot of time in his dimensions. Old moon loved sun because that's who he had for most if his life, ehile new moon's closet was Solar..

He SHOULD have known that possibly both moons were abusive from the magic mirror box, to this and all the yelling at him for no reason. It’s sad really, moon possibly did mean it, I like moon sure but I do not like him acting this way at all.

I think Sun knew. I think he knew for a long time, but he could never find it in himself to stand against it. He felt powerless, and like his thoughts and feelings didn't matter.

I keep thinking about the episode of Eclipse's second death part 2. He warned Moon that if they all continue tinkering with Star Power it's going to be his fault that Sun will end up dead in his arms. I have a feeling it has something to do with the Astral Bodies. OM mentioned Sun would sacrifice himself for Moon to safe him.

That's right, Sun, cry, speak and scream all you need to. Let it finally flow, you'll see how it will make you feel better and clear your head. If half of my patients allowed themselves to just stop and freely cry for a moment, my job as a psychologist would be far, far easier.
By the way, Jack is a surprisingly good therapist. It was kind of hard not to laugh at his tone on the "I'm listening" line (why it sounded almost like Vegeta from Dragon Ball?), but yeah, he did well. Maybe he and Earth can share the burden when needed.
PS: Coincidently (in a kind of hilarious way), Vegeta's voice actor here in Brazil is also a psychologist. I can only imagine the sessions, and would totally pay fat money for at least one. The mental image is just too funny.

6:00 Sun really needs a good break, so much has happened and tbh sun just sounds so done. Im glad jack was there to help him a bit.
Jack did good talking to Sun like this, letting Sun just vent out his stress, frustrations, sorrow.. even contemplate "what if" scenarios as well as express how he just dislike Moon as a whole before. Maybe life would've been better without Moon, would've been in a more economic problem though if we recall that one Dimension Moon went to when he thought he was better off gone..
But even if they could've been gone, or that none of the stuff with Eclipse happened along with KC, there would've been no Earth or Lunar.. and those two are such a big part of Sun's life now. And then a life without Moon.. Old and New are not the most greatest guys, we can all agree on that, Old Moon does exceed New Moon though as of right now. But a life with the guy would probably make Sun feel more lonely in the daycare.
I do have to admit, looking back at the time Moon cried for Solar and how he missed him, it was heartbreaking.. but not just because he missed Solar. But to say something like that in front of the one you're actually brothers with? Damn.. I mean I don't blame the guy for feeling that much of a close connection with Solar, but he still had Sun at least along with Lunar and Earth too.
Sun really has been through so much.. maybe boxing would be a good way to vent out his frustrations, would be good for him even if he's not good at it. (Thumbnail art goes so hard for this moment by the way, it's so beautiful yet so so sad.. and the thunderstorm outside really sets up the whole mood of this situation.)

All these 'what if's... Seeing Sun so broken down hurts my heart. I'm so glad Jack is there for him, the person whose face reminds him of his twin so much😢. He may not be the brightest, but he definitely is a great listener. 🫂❤️🩹
And Moon crying about how he missed his brother? I think it hit Moon so hard because Solar reminded him of Sun. We saw how Moon panicked during his nightmare where Sun was the one to die instead.
It's understandable that Sun still feels hurt about that though. And that he feels angry about Moon's recent actions.

Fight me, Sun went through some of the worst out of any of the SAMS characters. He’s been around since the old moon, went through that whole fiasco, then this thing with the new moon and everything and every other torture that has happened to him, him also being targeted in the past for being the “weaker” brother, I just feel bad for him. He deserves the world and more ❤

I’d like to present a worthy candidate, Ruin- wait hear me out, he lived for 50+ of the apocalypse while watching all his friends being consumed by the virus and being turned into husks of their former selves, and think of the implications (if you get that reference I salute you), also having to pretend to have the virus to protect himself. Anyways good night and this was all in good fun.

I think we can safely establish that sun still cares about his brother. He just doesn’t want him back in his life which is fine. You can care about somebody but not want them back in your life.

8:46 I remember there was a VRChat episode where Old Moon went to a dimension where he never existed, and it was just Sun. Moon was the tech guy, and without him, the daycare was going to close, and everyone was going to get scrapped if Old Moom didn't help that dimension Sun out.
Based on the dimension the Old Moon went to, if he didnt exist the daycare would close and Sun wouldve been decommissioned. If that didnt happen, MAYBE he wouldnt have to deal with all of this, but he wouldnt have grown either. Neither would Monty, or Foxy.
I grew up in a rough home and there are days i wish things had been better. Things had never happened the way they did, but I'm here now. I made a life for myself in adulthood that i can be proud of, even if its hard.
Im not saying Sun should be happy any of this happened. Its harsh and terrible and god it hurts so much. But hes here now. Hes got Earth and Lunar, Monty, maybe Foxy. Hes got Dazzle and Jack and the memory of an Eclipse that loved him with all he was even if that was never said aloud.
Im so sorry Sun but, for now, your twin isnt your brother. Hes just a celestial themed animatronic among the stars. Heh, how appropriate.

Old Moon was an asshole and a sociopath, but he _cared_ for his family and placed their safety above even his own life. And New Moon has utterly spat on that by not even caring about his family being in the crossfire of his selfish desires and actively burning his bridges with them.
No wonder Sun's so broken up over this, seeing as he's essentially lost his brother _again_ after everything else that's going on (Ruin erasing Solar, Bloodmoon, etc.).
I really hope that we do get the Old Moon back, and I desperately want him to be portrayed *right* by the show. Pick up the guy who said, "I love you, brother. And if you want to help me, now's your chance: just be my brother. That's all I ever needed," and set him in our present. I know damn good and well that if in-character Old Moon came back, he'd want to do absolutely whatever it takes to finally, fully make amends for the past and help Sun heal. Sun needs that so damn badly.

It’s painful that he’s been almost through everything that I’ve been through it’s painful extremely extremely painful he’s always been my favorite and he will remain that way in my heart for a long long while maybe even when the shows over maybe even forever sun is the most relatable character to me out of any characters he’s awesome and I hope that he does get better at expressing himself more and actually trying not just stop talking when someone interrupts him because I genuinely want to hear his words from him back then to now he is literally me from when I was a literal child to now he’s an awesome character and I completely hope whoever says that sun is “pathetic” eats their own words because he’s not pathetic he’s a strong person mentally and physically from him picking up moon and putting him to bed to picking up Monty to throwing them at a wall especially from how he snapped at moon to when completely spat facts at moon about how he’s going into insanity. Seeing Sun break is so heart breaking to think whatever Moon they chose bring back the Old Moon or try and fix the New Moon Sun is scared and hurt by both, Old Moon hurt him in many ways while the New Moon finally broke him where the Old Moon never could break him with his words so whatever Moon comes back they will have to do alot just to get Sun back to where even if Lunar and Earth were to forgive and move on Sun might still not forgive and I don't even think Foxy, Monty or Puppet will beable to help

Jack as a therapist makes absolute sense actually. He's calming and is able to see the bottom line easily. Also, I think, sometimes people forget just how much Jack learns. He was built to observe and adapt to situations. Is it any wonder that he would also have observed, learned, and incorporated things from those he was around the most often?
Also, "You, Sun, have a family that cares for you." Jack, sweetie... You have a family that cares for you as well.

At this point, New Moon is definitely worse than Old Moon. Can't believe I'm saying this but i think it would be better if Old Moon came back...somehow. Yes, it's REALLY obvious that Old Moon has lots of issues, but he seems like a preferable version of Moon.

In the what if Solar lived episode Moon began to panic as he heard from solar that Sun died and he demanded to know where *his brother* is. That episode came after Moon's breakdown episode. I bet if Sun was the one to die instead of Solar, Moon would've been even worse then he is right now. He called Sun his light in the darkness.
Jack is so lovely, I think his more netrual standing helped a lot and he asked some really good questions. Also his little hug was very sweet. Sun's been through hell and back, he sounds so exhausted and sad. And yeah, even if you still care about someone doesn't mean you have to have them in your life.
