Now to the Bible studying tips, thank you. I really should start studying the Bible like this again, taking notes and researching.
Also I've been wanting to try the ESV, I bought one but it's hardcover and it's too bulky.
I may try getting a paperback that is more malleable and manageable 😉.

Last Sunday I said at church that although the bible is on the phone, I prefer the physical bible to scribble in and underline stuff
I get that. When I'm studying, I prefer the physical Bible as well

1. Time- I’m trying to be consistent but I am always tired. Did not even get to do it today because I decided to go to bed early but I’m still up. I call it my quiet time. I don’t do anything specific. I’ll read, listen music, pray, watch a sermon or do a devotional on youversion.
2. I use NIV a lot and ESV. I prefer these two and if it sounds off I look at the kjv.
3. Journaling- I bought a book recently for journaling. I don’t want to write. Then again I should because my memory is not that good.
4. I listen sermons for additional learning.
5. I try to apply it to real life. The journaling helps with applying to real life and doing a self search.
I love this video. I hope it encourages someone to be consistent. The road to consistency is a process. Don’t beat up on yourself but continue trying🙏🏾

My go to is to always take notes, I also love me a sticky note! I put them up where i can always see them with verses that i like or scriptures that resonate with me. With those I can recycle them for different seasons, like if I am struggling with rejection, i am able to categorize scriptures that helps to overcome those struggles on a mood board or just stick them over my bed so i can always see them

This is a well timed video. I've never been the best student of the Word and it bothers me a lot. Recently I've had the strong desire to invest in a physical study bible and really spend time in the book.
The app is ok but let's be real, phones are distraction filled 😅. The version I'm considering is the CSB... hopefully thats a good one (seems like it based on what i see).
This video has given me some practical tips I'll be employing. What book(s) are you currently studying? I'm currently reading Romans but I'll go over it again to STUDY
