Sarcastic attitude? Eve is the sarcastic one. Mandy doesn't even understand sarcasm. Nevertheless, I missed Molly as Mandy, and also missed Kaitlyn Dever not being on regularly anymore as Eve.
The original Mandy will always have a special place in my heart and in my opinion she isn't replaceable. I don't mind the new actress playing her, but it lost something without Molly. As for the first girl who played the oldest Daughter "Kristin" (Alexandra) the reason I like her better is because she looks like she could actually be the sister of the other two girls. Having said that I like Amanda (the current Kristin) and I take to her better than the Mandy replacement. I just thought Alexandra had a better fit, and I thought she was quite adorable as well. Love the youngest Daughter and I am glad she wasn't replaced but instead used a little less on the show because she found other work.
Agree, agree, agree. The eldest girl first played by Alexandra really did look like she could be the daughter of her parents on the show. Very believable. The replacement, Amanda Fuller, is very clearly NOT related to her parents. Molly Ephraim with her black hair is stretching her believability of being a daughter. But maybe, maybe. Kaitlyn Dever could easily be a real daughter too. I know the show is made up fiction fantasy. But it is better if the fiction is somewhat believable.
I just like the show from start to finish. The last episode kind of felt “odd” the way it just abruptly ended the show. I like just about everything Tim Allen has been in. Great actor surrounded by others putting out a great show.
Still love Last Man Standing. Don't like the new Mandy, wish original Mandy would come back as she and Kyle have great chemistry. Hope the show runs for many, many more years.
Never watched the Fox episodes, without Kaitlyn Dever and especially Molly Ephraim, the show was just not the same. The new Mandy just doesnt make it as Mandy. Molly Ephraim developed the Mandy character and NO one else can play it the same. Replacing Eve with a little foreign exchange student doesn't cut it either.
This show was on TV in Russia, and I wached it till the end. And as a person who is not involved in your poliitics (although some peope think we are 😉) I can say it was a very good show and a lot of people like it here. It teaches that the family and reliable close friends are the most important things in our life. And it comes so natural to understand it so I don't get just why some people are negative about such simple things.
I love this show- I love the characters- and I wish they could go on forever. I know that’s not possible and I feel like “family “programming has taken a dive lately but Tim Allen gives such a great performance as a down to earth dad who cares about family and family values and I love that. I will miss this show immensely. 🥺
The new Mandy absolutely SUX! .. Molly Ephraim was so much better in that role, she just fit it perfectly. I'm not dissing on the new Mandy, she is probably a great actress but she just doesn't fit the part at all, she just doesn't pull it off like Molly did.
You cannot make a successful tv show. Then replace main characters. I think the only reason that it's still successful is because everyone loves Tim allen. He's like Mike rowe in that way. Wich is a coincidence because he plays Tim's brother. I think both are funny and intelligent. Wich is rare nowadays
I love Tim Allen and Last Man Standing. I agree with most that the new Mandy is a disaster. I honestly think it is the actress herself that just can’t deliver the Mandy personality. She is just awkward. We know the writing is great from the previous characters. Just find a new Mandy ! Please!!!
I agree 100% she can't pull off the natural airhead or ditzyness it shows she struggles doing it. They should just change the personality all together then. Which I do also agree Molly Ephram is a much better option.
@Libs are Nuts I liked the show better when the family element was more important than the politics. I still like the show but it was an unnecessary change.
I watched this show and now its repeats religiously, it's a breath of fresh air. And one of the cleanest shows on television that i have found. Kudos, three times a charm lol!
Katlin Deever is pretty amazing - making time for this old show when she can to appear for a few episodes. That is so unusual in the industry today - and it shows how the cast must get along for her to want to come back as time permits. ABC canceled it for political reasons. With 10 million viewers it was highly rated. Today it still get 9 million viewers on average and it is still a highly rated show on FOX.
@@toriless Considering how quickly censorship against Trump, and his supporters, has taken hold, due to democrats now controlling the Gov’t; it’s safe to say it was “politically” cancelled.
@@toriless No it was political. Look at ABC and Disney's very heavy handed democratic leanings. This was a slash for political reasons, think money if you like, but it was political. Allen and Travis have both said so, nor does ABC deny it now.

@Tim Kozlowski Did you not watch this video? Seriously, how many times can you switch out cast members before it ruins a show? You keep saying it was political because "your people" keep telling you that.
Kaitlin Denver is an outstanding actress who in my humble opinion will win multiple Oscars. Really that good! Glad they are smart enough on this show that they let her spread her wings and she’s nice enough to come back to a show and cast that she appreciates.
I am in love with this show. However I hated the fact that they changed the character Mandy Baxter. I am still not used to Molly Mccook cause she ain't really selling it. The character change of Carol did not sting me as much but it would be nice to see her for just one more episode. Isn't Kaitlyn Dever the best, she really loved last man standing as much as we did that she is not ready to say goodbye to us. She is my favourite character alongside the famous Mike Baxter. If those two would leave the show it wouldn't be the same. This is an amazing show for it does not hold back, they stand their ground and are not afraid to speak. I am really looking forward to the future seasons.
I prefer the old Mandy. She was naturally funny, beautiful and held the audience's attention. My super fave is Eve. She speaks her mind and smart beyond her years. She's also a talented singer with guitar. Overall, love the show..there is a little something for everyone.

Love the show, love Tim Allen and the cast. It’s the best show out there! I would like to see an episode about Tim’s radio hobby tying it back to preparedness or being prepared for an emergency. I know Tim could make it entertaining but informative. Thanks for the great show
Tims view of obama was right on. his view was right on. Why anyone would vote for that idiot is beyond me. He brought this economy so down he could have been bidens brother.
Actually they did give a reason why Alexandria Krosney left last man standing and the reason that was given was she and Tim Allen had creative differences meaning she couldn't stand working with Tim Allen that's why she left the show.
putting something in quotation marks.... ergo Krosney was canned for "creative differences" is like saying that you fired an employee for 'creative differences'....?? The "actor" is just that...The 'ACT-or".... ('ACT' 'or' get fired.) and the Actor deciding that as the 'actor' doesn't care to cut the lines of the character as the director and producers requires, means that Krosney didn't like her character and disagreed with how the producers [Who are paying her salary] needed things to go...so she was let go.
It could be something more like to use your words the actor doesn't care to cut line it could be something much more. case and point there was a show with damon wayans called my wife and kids and an actress who played one of the main characters was let go due to her stage mom simply not liking a scene where her child was going to have be in an episode dealing with teen pregnancy and simply took her off of the show. So, yeah there are more examples of creative differences.
the original mandy was hilarious. it's always tuff to take over another's role, but i really think their choice was not a good. nothing against the new actress. just isn't a good fit.
This is the “right” sitcom to watch, if you wanna laugh, If you got a sense of humor, If you want to enjoy yourself if you want to smile oh yeah, and if you’re a Republican… LOL😘

Molly was exceptional on the show. I feel they should have casted someone at least with that type of on screen energy. It comes across as someone pretending to be someone else as there really are no similarities between the two.
@@TheProudmomma34 I agree. The show screwed up royally on that. I don't blame Molly for leaving because she, along with everyone else, thought the series was done when ABC cancelled the series so she went out and got other jobs. it's about the GREEN of the dollars...not about the RED or BLUE of the politics....TV is a business.... This show has already had a long run for just a so-so premise
I can't believe that a show of real quality and texture would be pulled from our living rooms. Fox as usual doesn't have a clue what they have walked away from. This was by far way ahead of any competition, but oh well I guess all good things must come to an end, and the garbage continues!
I am a long time, middle aged Democrat and I LOVE the show! I don’t think it was political when they canceled because the show is just plain funny! I for one don’t mind Tim’s views at all, though many are different from mine. I would think that many other watchers feel as I do. The show represents a variety of political views which is one reason why it’s so good!
The one cast changed that they did get right was making Amanda Fuller, the character of Kristen Baxter. She was a much better fit and more believable than the original actress. She also had chemistry with the other members of the cast. You could see it in the scenes that they shared on screen. The first girl to play Kristen was OK. But she would’ve been better in a role if Kristen had been younger and was no child. You could’ve believed her as that character. Much as it was touched on in this video, I do believe she was too young to play the part. But when you brought in Amanda Fuller. She was Kristen. She was lovable, and she was a breath of fresh air into the shell and the character.
It was clearly canceled (originally) for political reasons. In a industry that is very left leaning. A show that stars a very right leaning actor is on borrowed time.
I love the show and don't agree a bit with "Mike" 's ideas. But it's comedy. Don't need to agree to enjoy the show. Politics in entertainment is terrible.
Oh yes, the entertainment industry LOVES turning away money...NOT! Perhaps the salary of the actor got too steep. Perhaps the audience just didn't tune in when ratings were being monitored. Perhaps it WAS the one sided political indoctrination. For whatever reason, you can't go back, and you can't stay in the present forever. THAT is why shows end, so NEW shows can be viewed; because after a while, the storyline gets sadly repeated or loses topics. This show was basically Tool Time with all daughters instead of sons. A masculine oriented job that is more about appeal than actual ability, with a "boys will be boys" mentality A wife that is the punchline set up. Kids that look to dad for approval and wisdom, and mom to keep dad in check. A neighbor, wise but still in need of Tim/Mike validation. Not saying it was the worst show, just that it was cookie cutter made for the star.
The original Mandy was priceless and played that part to a "T"! She is missed for sure but we move on and have been getting better aquatinted with the new "Mandy"! She is getting better creating her own style that works. Hope the old Mandy is killing it wherever she is.
ABC was too afraid of upsetting all those liberal democrats with Tims' very Republican views. The Fox network obviously wasn't afraid to let Tim Allen express his Constitutional right to freedom of speech.
@@joanncoleman1856 Wrong. It wasn’t about politics, it was about money. ABC aired the show but it was always owned by Fox, and when you pay for production of a show that you don’t own the ratings needs to be better than what season 6 had on ABC. Same reason Fox cancelled Brooklyn 99. It was an NBC owned show.

I absolutely adore Amanda Fuller! Losing Molly Ephraim was tough for me to get over and I supported Molly McCook for stepping in and up. Caitlin Dever is a Trooper and I'm glad she appears. Krista Marie Yu has brought a new dimension to the show and the rest of the regular cast are all outstanding!
Channing Dungey at ABC made the decision and sidestepped her way around the reason we all suspect. It doesn't fit with the illogical liberal mindset. Good thing Fox picked it up and I still get a couple laughs per episode but the show just isn't the same, especially without Molly and Kaitlyn.

@@billyc768 I know mandy doesn't understand sarcasm but is very good at it, that why I like her.
Couldn’t agree more!
Original mandy is far uglier than the taller replacement Molly McCook
Molly Ephraim's Mandy is believable. The new Mandy is just overacting.
I totally agree
Agree 100%
You have got it backward you must be as dumb as Molly's character
She’s bland
Molly Ephraim was so believable that I didn't ever think she was acting. I would be shocked if she's not that way in real life.
I just like the show from start to finish. The last episode kind of felt “odd” the way it just abruptly ended the show. I like just about everything Tim Allen has been in. Great actor surrounded by others putting out a great show.
But he was kind of the reason it stopped for 3 years. He made out there salary demands.
Still love Last Man Standing. Don't like the new Mandy, wish original Mandy would come back as she and Kyle have great chemistry. Hope the show runs for many, many more years.
Unfortunately it is done after this season.

@eclemensen Yea, clearly not the same show it was.

True that!

Never watched the Fox episodes, without Kaitlyn Dever and especially Molly Ephraim, the show was just not the same. The new Mandy just doesnt make it as Mandy. Molly Ephraim developed the Mandy character and NO one else can play it the same. Replacing Eve with a little foreign exchange student doesn't cut it either.
thats why i stopped at season 6 for me thats where it ended
I love the new Mandy! Hated the old one, she was sooooooo anoying
They r both Mandy, they fit in, blame abc they messed everything up to start with. Change happens
"SUX" but I'm not dissing on her...lol
Plus Mandy is absolutely gorgeous!! How do you replace someone as beautiful as she is inside and out. She was perfect for the part.
...I love the chemistry between Allen and Travis.
Tim was my tv Dad growing up! He truly is a real role model
😂
They lost gas when Molly Ephraim left she had chemistry with the cast.
I love Tim Allen and Last Man Standing. I agree with most that the new Mandy is a disaster. I honestly think it is the actress herself that just can’t deliver the Mandy personality. She is just awkward. We know the writing is great from the previous characters. Just find a new Mandy ! Please!!!
She doesn't bring out the rite perkiness, energetic, fashionable, has an incredibly unflattering type feel the character

BS, it was on the air for long then most shows. If they wanted it dead they would not have left it on for so long. It was all about money.

This was made 1/2 year ago
putting something in quotation marks.... ergo Krosney was canned for "creative differences" is like saying that you fired an employee for 'creative differences'....??
The irony is that the industry isn't left leaning. It's all centrists.
The original Mandy was priceless and played that part to a "T"! She is missed for sure but we move on and have been getting better aquatinted with the new "Mandy"! She is getting better creating her own style that works. Hope the old Mandy is killing it wherever she is.
