In the pick, I'd go with the Sealy, as it has hybrid design. I am a taller and heavier person and prefer the durability coils offer. As a combination back and side sleeper, who also sleeps hot, the neutral feel the Sealy offers and the cooling topper, might help with this. Thanks for the review
Giveaway: out of the two I'd pick Sealy. I used to hear good things about Tempur-Pedic but lately I've been only reading horror stories. Sealy has been getting positive feedback for a long time so that's the one I trust.
Exactly! All Tempurpedic beds are bad! -They leave an indentation within one year. -They don't honor their warranty, they ask you to send pictures of the tag, the delivery receipt, the whole bed, measuring using a coin and they will still deny it. Even if they send someone to measure it for you with a string, they won't help. -They will hurt your back, your hips, your shoulders, and your arms!! -Despite their cooling technology, the bed makes you uncomfortably hot. -The bed eventually sags -They have a horrible strong smell and mold growing within Ways people describe this permanent indentation are: "Feels like you're in a canoe and you have to climb out" "It feels like sleeping in a hammock" "Feels like you're stuck in mud" "Feels like you're sleeping in a bean bag" "Feels like lying in a crater" Please, for your sake, never buy a Tempurpedic mattress of any kind. They invest a lot of money in advertising to sell Tempurpedics, because it's a scam. How do I know? I bought the "Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Medium". I woke up with back aches, I tossed and turned overnight, and it truly felt like I was stuck in a mold. I hate this bed so much. I went back to Mattress Firm and they tried to tell me that I needed to give it more time to soften, that I should walk on it to break up the fibers. They said only 1% of people return a Tempurpedic (because they won't let you). They said I shouldn't go softer because it will give me back aches. They said the medium is like "Goldilocks" from the three bears story, it's in between firm and too soft, it's just right. They said give it about six months. They say whatever they need to sell it and push it off until the window of time to return it expires. But I decided ok, I'll give it time and try walking on it. I go home and walk over it, I put weight on it for several days. Then I lay in my kid's bed, I fell asleep instantly! I did not toss and turn at all, and I can sleep on my back and on my side, either way it was comfortable. That's when I decided to go back to the store and told them to take the Tempurpedic back. There was no more room in my mind for persuasion to get me to stay with that expensive piece of faulty "NASA technology" JUNK. The problem with this Tempurpedic technology is that the foam is too dense, it takes a while to form to your body, so when you shift your weight, it again takes a while to conform to your body. The weight overtime will cause those overused spots to sink in like a crater and they permanently stay in that shape. I ended up choosing another mattress that was not a Tempurpedic. No one should have to go through days, weeks, and months of body aches and no rest, hoping for a bed to "break in" like I did. I later discovered the bad reviews about Tempurpedic mattresses of all kinds on reddit and consumer reports. Unfortunately, people find out too late that their body aches are coming from their expensive Tempurpedic mattress, too late to return, too late to get their hard earned money back. Here are honest consumer report reviews about Tempurpedic beds, some have photos of the mold, indentation, and sagging: www.consumeraffairs.com/furniture/tempurpedic.html?page=11#scroll_to_reviews=true
Sealy has my vote! Tempur-pedic is too expensive! (The first comment- my phone auto corrected it 🥲) I need the edge support of the Sealy as well as the coils for support. The Tempur-Cloud would be a challenge for me with my mobility issues.
I don't know why they have to screw with everything and make things worse than they were. I purchased a memory foam mattress about 13 or so years ago and it was amazing. It had such a thick sinking feeling to it that you describe it as almost gooey. These mattresses are nothing compared to that. When you say slow moving on the tempurpedic that means nothing to me compared to the mattress I had.

I've had a sealy for 15 years! Yes. It's crazy! I'm now shopping for a geltex 2800. Sealy all the way!

Tho tempur is owned by sealy. They tend to keep the less proven products under different brands, but customer service probably is the same

TempurPedic has a good reputation. I’ve slept on one and it’s nice. Thanks for the review!

I'm looking at the sealy one but not sure if it's best because I can't test it out first.
Thank you, great review
Glad it was helpful!
