I have finished this awesome study, and I have learned so much about my own spiritual sight and how I have allowed distractions into this precious time. This is an excerpt from my notes on this study: "We don't see anything wrong with the darkness until we see how beautiful the Light is." May God richly and abundantly bless you!
I thank God I am saved. Because I understand why people refuse to believe in Jesus. I could have been them but God shown his light in my heart. If God was able to deliver me from the darkness that was in my heart there is nothing that he will never be able to deliver me from. Lust, hatred, unforgiveness etc in Jesus name.
Please pray for me that I be delivered from all things not of God. Please pray that God would put in me a steadfast Heart and that he would work in me both the Willing and doing of HIS good pleasure 🙏
In agreement with 2 corinthians 4:3-6, 2 corinthians 6:14-15, 1 john 3:10, matthew 6:24 I bind every blinded heart in my life and in the lives of my enemies to the pit of hell upon no return of the veil in my life, binding I will be unequally yoked with and have any common share with any evildoer serving satan to have a blinded heart, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ amen and hallelujah! I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (February 14, The Transfiguration of Our Lord), this was our New Testament Lesson (or Epistle) of the Day. Corinth: the New York City/Las Vegas of the Bible. Agree or disagree? Feel free to reply. And with that, the Season of Epiphany, which began on January 6 (Matthew 2:1-12), comes to a close. This coming Wednesday, February 17, 2021, is Ash Wednesday, which begins the Season of Lent.
Corinthians 4:3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds The corn. God, has opened the front door and back door and the windows of utterance in the house of David, in the eyes of the Holy Ghost, through the spirit of truth, that the symbols may be expressed as a likeness, revealing the structure of God’s image through his word.
4:20 So does this mean that God first shines the light of the Gospel into the person's heart, and then, if they choose to, they turn to The Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, and the veil is lifted?
#DavidBowden I don't understand how I went from seeing Jesus in the Word to not being able to see the Living Word come back to life in me. I don't know what happened but I would honestly appreciate some help in understanding how this happened.and how to overcome this. I believe that we are in the last days prophesied in Revelation and I certainly don't want to be anywhere but with Jesus eternally. Please help me. I realize that you probably won't answer this comment but I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions to help me get past this. I love your spoken word poem "I Am" and have listened to it many times. I thank God for using you to help me understand what He is and what I am to Him. He truly is the Great I Am.
Anne, Thank you so much for your honesty. This is a huge question and I know it’s really personal, but I’ll do my best to provide what answer I can. First, it is totally normal to go through seasons of our lives as believers where God feels experientially farther than he has in previous seasons. Not to plug something here, but I wrote a lot about this in my book, “When God Isn’t There.” Second, our ability to see and savor Jesus in scripture is a gift. I’m sure you are, but keep praying that God would open your eyes to see him in Scripture (Ps. 119:18, Lk. 24:44-45). Third, and probably most importantly, your salvation, position in God’s eyes, and eternal safety are not rooted in how you feel. They are rooted in what you trust. If you trust Jesus and what he did for you on the cross, you do not need to fear. Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Do not trust your experience or emotions. They are not your salvation or security. Jesus is. I hope you continue to trust Jesus through this season and pray for help. Thank you. - David
@@SpokenGospel thank you for your insight. This has been tearing me apart inside. Your understanding of what I've been going through is refreshing to say the least! Yes, I agree that feelings are not to be trusted wholly and are fleeting. I wholeheartedly believe in Him and what He did for everyone on the cross and I have no doubt that He rose again. I'm thankful that you took the time to help guide me through this. I do have to say I'm a little bit shocked and "star-struck" as I am a huge fan of your Spoken Gospel. I AM being my very favorite. I have shared it with my Pastor even! He likes it too. That spoken word, wow, gets me every time I listen to it. I apologize for rambling on...I surely did not expect you, Mr. Bowden to be the one to answer me. God certainly knows what a beautiful gift you have and how I think about Him when I hear I AM. Thank you very kindly for your encouragement and help. May you and yours be continually blessed. Thank you again. Anne
@@Faith_Over_Fear_OG Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m so thrilled that the Holy Spirit is enabling you to believe so strongly in spite of these difficult feelings. Thank you for encouraging me in all we’re doing with Spoken Gospel. Appreciate you so much! - David

I know this to be a reality but never heard it preached. May veils be lifted through it. God bless David and his ministry.
The corn. The veil is removed and revealed to be removed through the trials and tribulations within the judgment by fire.

The corn. Their minds are blinded by the darkness of their eternal Sea of glass, which makes it possible for Satan to control their understanding.
