I think covering this song there need to be moments of stillness because otherwise it just looks exhausting to the audience, Blackpink songs are often an amazing blend of still and then hype so that the beat drops hit even harder and that is why it’s so hard to cover a Blackpink song there are points where you have to be calm and clean to make the fierce badass killing points hit even harder
If you watched the full episode, then you know it's their worst performance (like the masters said) The biggest mistake they made is being too fast compare to the original (like the masters said, of course there were others mistakes too) If they did it like they usually did, I'm sure they would win. . But again, result is the most important in this competition. At least we have to appreciate their efforts.

Overall what afected their performance was being nervous, but they did a great job.

I agree with the comments about this groups ENERGY - it really gave the go hard or go home vibe. Too bad energy couldn’t compensate for errors in their technicality (choreo and singing in tune) hope they aren’t discouraged because at the end of the day they gave their best!

Actually I liked this one more despite the mistakes compared to another team. But as we all now mistakes are not allowed . This team kinda had that neat energy I was expecting. Even if they lose, they are still my favorite.

BP songs are made for the members to sing, to suit their voices. From this point of view, it is really hard to cover them, and you need to have the right attitude. The girls definitely did pretty well, most of them had the right attitude.
BLACKPINK songs look easy when they are the ones performing it but when it’s being performed by other people, you can see that it’s extremely difficult to execute properly.

YOON JI A SLAYED THIS PERFORMANCE she was already one of my favorites in the show cause of the KICK IT stage, but seeing her stage presence here makes me like her even more definitely a top 9 for me Edit: Ji a is the girl at the front of the line in the very beginning
They did really well with the rap but the vocal and dance is just meh. They made a lot of mistakes in choreographies and most of their voices cracked and some just couldn't sing properly. So it makes sense they didn't win. I hope they improve more in the future! Rooting for these girls.
My favorites are in the other team, but I still agree with you. Even though team 2 made a lot of mistakes, their voices and charisma fit the song the best. The other team was more stable tho and recovered faster from Caibing’s mistake in the beginning, while team 2 continued to make a lot of mistakes, so I guess it’s only fair that team 1 won.
Lol the opinions are so varied on which part did the teams do better. The voices and killing part here was great. I agree they could have won if they didn't make mistakes but I think the other team suits the concept much better. Other team were also more relaxed in performing.
JIA and DAyeon's part is addicting! and JIA really carried this whole performance. also i love yujin but this group brought more angst and energy needed for the song to bad too many mistakes.
looking past all the mistakes of both teams, this team had the better performance. energy goes a big way; it will reflect the mood of the song. how you like that is a powerful song, thus you have to have the appropriate energy and facials. team 2 had a little of both, but team 1 did it better. i mean look at yujin's reaction.
Hylt beat is really confusing if you don't hear the song by yourself repeatedly. I think Sunmi's tip is really wise, to listen to its instrumental. Ji ah is really good.
The expressions, the raps, and the killing parts, this team is the winner. But sadly this team continue to make some mistakes. Great cover anyway. Not easy to cover Black Pink's song, but this team already did a great job.👏

I agree it will seem too force and not natural but the girls are new and probably nervous when they were perform on the stage. This is show dancing and singing are not as easy for making the voice stable. It takes alot of practicing I wish them all the best ❤

Voting determines which groups/cells stay and which ones get eliminated. And like it was said the judges will pick one trainee from k,c & j group to save from the eliminated trainees. @@naturelover.05 I think so too. BP is a 4 member group so they had more space, and it was easier to transition their choreo's. But I think the trainees not being (professionally) vocally trained also played a part in this. (Plus they were nervous)
@@dreamer4475 for me its okay when u mistake some dance steps but thier aura, swagg and charisma is missing bcs when u watch BP all of thier performance is top tier so you have to expect a lot when someones group covering there songs but they did a great job.

@@appaisanairbender5043 first of all there's an off beat part at the start, some of the girls not singing on tune and two of the members (black shirt with beige skirt and beige top with black skirt) 1:56 made a mistake in the choreo (facing in the back) so yeah.

If they didn’t make the mistakes they 100% would’ve won cuz the rap and the killing parts are WAY better here
They did really well with the rap but the vocal and dance is just meh. They made a lot of mistakes in choreographies and most of their voices cracked and some just couldn't sing properly. So it makes sense they didn't win. I hope they improve more in the future! Rooting for these girls.
My favorites are in the other team, but I still agree with you. Even though team 2 made a lot of mistakes, their voices and charisma fit the song the best. The other team was more stable tho and recovered faster from Caibing’s mistake in the beginning, while team 2 continued to make a lot of mistakes, so I guess it’s only fair that team 1 won.

The voices and killing part here was great. I agree they could have won if they didn't make mistakes but I think the other team suits the concept much better. Other team were also more relaxed in performing.

JIA and DAyeon's part is addicting! and JIA really carried this whole performance. also i love yujin but this group brought more angst and energy needed for the song to bad too many mistakes.
looking past all the mistakes of both teams, this team had the better performance. energy goes a big way; it will reflect the mood of the song. how you like that is a powerful song, thus you have to have the appropriate energy and facials. team 2 had a little of both, but team 1 did it better. i mean look at yujin's reaction.
They also brought more mistakes than than Yujin group

BLACKPINK songs are really hard especially if you don't feel the vibe being that "bad bitch". Big clap to those 2 teams who execute this. They can do better though, but what's done is done. I wish they don't get pressured by their performance.
Obviously they can do better but they literally given so little time to perfect their stage. There's much they can do with that little time.
I agree it will seem too force and not natural but the girls are new and probably nervous when they were perform on the stage. This is show dancing and singing are not as easy for making the voice stable. It takes alot of practicing I wish them all the best ❤

@@ouriiangel i think in this round 16 teams ( equivalent to 48 trainees) are going to eliminated then the mentors/judge will going to pick 3 trainees from each country to be save.

@@ouriiangel so this “competition” is mainly for benefits. All the winning teams get 2x votes 24 hours before voting ends, but the winner from the boys teams get 3x the votes before voting ends. Voting determines which groups/cells stay and which ones get eliminated. And like it was said the judges will pick one trainee from k,c & j group to save from the eliminated trainees. Hope that made sense!
