To this day I'm still haunted by Annette's scream, hers being the first death I witnessed in the game. :^( Imho these screams sound so much more powerful than the English counterparts, truly conveying the pain and fear these characters would feel dying in battle.
Well it is for me.. I made Dedue a Great Knight in my BL playthrough. It was extra tough to get his Riding skill to be B+, but boy was it worth the effort. You see, I usually use him to lure the physical attackers to absorb the damage while Annette and Felix were behind so they could deal the finishing blow to the already weak units. Plus, Dedue with Brave Axe can kill a magic enemy in one turn, so he can assure his own safety as well. Im currently 2 chapters away from the final battle and Dedue has proven himself useful enough for me.
@@amirhamzah3619 Ah I don't get the R/Woooshed reference, but if you can find success with a Great Knight Dedue then that is good for you; however I like to stay within my character's skill build to either capitalize on there strengths or improve their weaknesses. Dedue got a base 20% speed growth and any armored class gives a -10% speed growth modifier, so it is practically suicide for a character like him; so that why I usually recommend War Master for him, which has a 10% speed growth modifier, a 15% strength growth modifier to capitalize on base his 50 strength growth rate, and a straight raw 20% crit on everything that you can abuse. Another example of capitalizing on a Character strengths is the canon sniper trio of Bernie, Ashe, and Ignatzs. They all share the same base strength and speed growths of 35% and 50% respectively, but if you stick to their skill builds; the less popular Ashe and Ignatzs are far superior. The only meaningful way that Bernie can improve her strength is with Paladin, which gives a 10 strength growth modifier; but for some stupid reason it cucks her speed with a -10% speed growth modifier. Now with somebody like Ashe, he can easily go into Warrior and get that sweet 15% strength growth modifier and not ruin his speed and Ignatzs got easy access to Sword Master; which gives a 10% strength growth modifier and a 20% speed growth modifier. Pair that with his budding talent of seal strength and he becomes a beast. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Ideally you could purposely put any unit in fast classes like a Swordmaster then when they grow enough speed like 30+ speed for example then reclass into a slower class like a Paladin and your unit can still be doubling enemies consistently. Maybe even quadrupling with Brave Weapons. Anyway if you want to know more about how this game works from a mathematical standpoint, check out serenesforest.net/three-houses/. These sound WAY more like actual death screams than the English counterparts. These convey more pain in these screams. The English ones aren't bad, but the Japanese ones are more powerful.
