I love all the videos that Jim and Deb put up they seem to understand that people watching don't want to hear music overlays or dead silence. I want to hear the wind, the sea, the rain and their comments as they enjoy their sailing and they do this in spades. To say I am jealous is an understatement, I am insanely jealous ( in a nice way ) of their fantastic adventure and cannot see enough of their videos. Thank-you so much Jim and Deb for sharing them with we poor land-locked mortals. Happy sailing
Just wanted to say that I loved your video! No music! I want to see what its really like, and your video shows me pretty much what its like! I hope that some day, I can be out there doing the same thing that you are! Thank you very much for sharing your video with me!!!
Fantastic video!!!!! My wife and I are planning to buy a 450 in a couple of years and sail the Caribbean. We spend a lot of time on You Tube watching 450 videos and have nearly exhausted them, so your new video made our day!!! Please keep them coming!!!
+ryan z You are welcome, that's what the videos are for, to help people realize their dreams. Have a look at the brand new Lagoon 42 - new model, nearly the same space inside and outside somehow as the 450, but 12.80 instead of 15 metres, more sociable with the different flybridge where you are not "excluded" like the 450. I love the 450 flybridge but was nervous to maybe not notice someone falling overboard during a trip. Also the interior main salon sitting area is quite narrow, not comfortable for a boat that size. No one uses the chart table area anymore - they should really redesign that to create proper big, comfortable "like at home" sofas. Also have a look at the new bavaria nautitech open 46 - price is very good comparatively speaking, and it will be a lot quicker than the L450 and being a new model and in view of its quality build, it should hold its value better even than the 450. Other than that, the L450 is a solid safe boat, it won't let you down, better build quality than FP and others.
love this video !! i'm in the middle of saving for a cat, 3 more years to go, and off i go !! my heart is really torn bewteen the lagoon 450 and the helia 44...... as you can imagine... great video guys!!
I prefer the Antares 44 for many reasons, there are no sharp edges in the salon anywhere. Well rounded corners are a must at sea. The helm station is part of the aft deck and comes with full enclosure built into it, so no matter what the weather your not climbing steps up and down, and you have complete control as lines are all right there. Its a personal preference
I am glad I saw your video with your Dawg . Do the islands in the Caribbean give you any grief about having a dawg ? or is he just another passenger on the boat? thanks
Wow, that was an amazing experience over Caribe. I love sailing and now my dream is buyng a cat, that's why I would like I mean I need to know everything about cats. Prices and routes over the ocean. Hey you guys if if you have any information you can share with me I really apreciate it. Thanks. You live a dream. Antigua looks wonderful. Tell me more about your experiences. Best regards
A quick question, I just noticed the great bimini top you had for the 450. Who made it for you? Thanks in advance and also do enjoy your vids.. and especially the 450 as I am close to deciding on it. Any feedback on the 450 is welcome Mick
ColGadarby It is bouncy yes - but only inbetween the islands of the Carribean - on the leeward side plenty of good relaxed anchoring and little wind as you are sheltered by the islands.
Just saying, you would have a much smoother ride if you were doing long tacks. Could use your sails and kill the motor as well and go faster. 😊 Thank you. Richard, USCG Master 100 Ton Captain, any ocean. 😊

Mick Relic I wish I could be with you guys. Enjoy the vid. Thanks
I love big cats. What mono can you sail in these conditions and leave your computer out and open on a countertop! Done!
Sometimes I wake up grumpy, other times I let her sleep!!
Now, any idea where the saying "a dog's life" came from?
Thanks.

It looks like you're bouncing all over the place - does the video make it look worse than it actually was ?

OK thanks for getting back - Happy sailing !
