Troy Villanueva actually there is a reason, it's because the squids and the octarians long time ago where very close,but they both where looking for territory so they had to fight,it was the first world war 1 against each other,ever since the 2 hated each other,that's also why octos have very few territory's and that's why there are agents.Yup Its very sad but it's true... ;(

In all seriousness, this is a pretty good animation, it just could use some more originality; if you've watched Poool137 (I think that was their name) you'd realize they did pretty much this exact plot years ago.
