    Hello and welcome! My name is Anton and in this video, we will talk about a new discovery of several stars that were previously invisible to us because they were on the "dark side" of our galaxy. We now found a way to see them.

    This is by far the most informative and credible science channel regularly produced that I know of. Excellently produced in that it starts off with the source of the information and is not weighed down with clowns, balloons and music soundtrack. Direct to the point, thorough "Straight no chaser" information. Refreshing.

      If it's winter, the object obscured by the sun would be in the summer position and vice versa. You wouldn't be able to see the object past the sun ever from earth.

    • @garyoldham4449
      @garyoldham4449 5 років тому +17

      Yes, missing something. Anton didn't screw up. He's talking about if a planet or other object occupied "the blind spot" also known as the L3 Lagrange point behind the sun, directly opposite Earth, therefore hidden. He means tidally locked, matched orbit, *to remain directly opposite*. There are 5 Lagrangian points for each orbital. Things get captured in those spots naturally because the combined G forces create points of balanced force. Think "tug of war" of equal pull. All orbiting objects have 5 Lagrangians. Jupiter's 5 Lagrange points have large numbers of asteroids trapped there.
      Anton also referenced sci-fi.

    I think an interesting thing about all of this is to realize that our technological advances has given us the ability to gather such huge amounts of complex data that our ability to analyze it properly and accurately is rapidly falling behind. A.I. and computer algorithms are a powerful tool but lack in human, creative or intuitive thought sometimes necessary to piece together complex puzzles. A.I. has a real problem with including unexpected or unexplained patterns in the data into the overall formula; much like the algorithms that attempt to predict the weather five days down the road.

    Hey Anton. I have been wondering if dark matter could be compressed normal atoms/particles that didn’t “bounce back” to normal size after leaving a neutron star, stellar core, or Big Bang. This could explain why dark matter does not react to normal light, they are too small and most light wavelengths are too large to hit them. Maybe dark matter would reflect gamma. It is possible the reason we have a halo of dark matter around the Milky Way, the dark matter has been pushed out there to where there is much less of high energy radiation. Last, it almost makes sense to me that if DM was compressed, possible individual particles then that would be a reason that DM does not clump up, the particles would have a type of electron or neutron degeneracy.
    Maybe DM is just slow, cold, small enough to pass though our normal matter, massive, neutral/no reaction to other DM, that never got back on track after a traumatic event.

I would like for you to check in detail the FRB of FRB121102 From NAOC in China, that FRB is the ONLY FRB repeating himself! 3 times exactly, last one this august. I really would like to know what you find and what you think about it. Thank you in advance.

      So it revolves around the thought that we have gotten resources from mars over time. How can anything from mars get to us When things leave a planet doesn’t it typicall move away from the sun ?
      Or does sun gravity attract everything. When u see planets loosing atmosphere it seems to be going away from sun. If that is the case how can we get anything from mars

    If we can't look past our own black hole, we certainly can't look past any other black hole in our line of sight... So there are a lot of blank spots in the universe, because our black hole is not the biggest out there, though it is the closest... Even if we wanted to, we will never be able to see everything!?

    Amazing very good news :), perhaps have a number of Hubble's around the number of 20,000 and we will be able to truly know our galaxy and gather further data to simulate androway collision... Perhaps there are significant factors considered we missed 1,000 Lights in our own back yard with one Hubble...

    Here's a question I've always had. If gravity works roughly like a trapeze net. And the milky way is like a flat disc. Is that mean it all basically is like its on some kinda like invisible ocean in a way? If so what's under the "water" if not. How does that work. If things are above and below us as well as in all other directions. How does gravity work?? I've avoided asking this question for awhile because not exactly sure how to ask it right. But then think that's the best way I can word it

    • @Didi_Meow_Records

      RandomName Last Name yeah you did and I know it was a lil loose with the words but still. I mean with net that something is there something is reacting and stretching to the weight of objects And the Milky Way is like a flat disc are all the local solar systems to our sides only or also above and below us? Is it all on the same fabric effected from its center or individually by its sun. So the the Stars circle the center and the planets circle the stars? And all on the same leveled point?

    • @Didi_Meow_Records
      @Didi_Meow_Records 5 років тому

      And if the bigger stars make a slighter difference than other smaller stars Are other galaxies that are much bigger or much smaller appear to be above and below us but still on the same leveled fabric as the other galaxies One stretched connected mess of a fabric and I just want to know what’s under the fabric **toke toke**. That’s all. Orrrr is at all just floating all over the place like in some kind of **toke toke** ocean??

    Difficult to see something when there is no clear line of sight.
    Infrared has been used for decades to " see " through all the intervening gas and dust. What has changed, as you point out, is the advance in computing technology to interpret the data.

      Freddy Krueger cup of tea! What a amazing reference, stir liquid, center of that liquid will get push down while the liquid near the edges stays relatively “high”, put ping pong ball there and once it reaches inner area it will speed up since distance that it need to travel is lower.
