What a vacuous, fluffy, feather- brained interview. Gurnov sat there with his "crib notes" , squeek-laughing when Mr. Benson recalled his childhood memories. I thought to myself how rude ! Then Gurnov actually asked the Great George Benson if he ever did gigs in small clubs ! I hated this interview, it's one of the worst ever. Al Gurnov strained every one of his brain cells, trying to demean the superior intelligence , and kindness of this great musician. However, the grace, elegance, and generosity of Mr. Benson shined through. Better luck next time Al Gurnov
More time with pausing techniques would have made this a better interview. He seemed to want to get through all the questions and interrupted at some key points and neglected to follow up where there was great opportunity 😞.

This funny interviewer still manages to get some interesting and unfamiliar info from George Benson. Too bad he doesn't follow up on it. Like when George says " They tried to do to me what they did to Michael Jackson." Can you imagine just ignoring such a statement?

I think the interviewer pushed the MJ subject fairly,because this interview is about mr Benson and you can’t divert too much and start talking about another artist no matter how great they are unless if it was a interview about that said artist etc.

Many were thrown out the JW sect because they were not abeam with internal politics, not due to any wrongdoing.
