My take on this: Angelina's lyrics don't describe a person! She describes "love" as if it could be seen and touched. How clever is that! I am full of admiration. Angelina is in a class of her own.

Angelina in her own words about this song... "I wanna talk about how the process of writing for this one was. Basically this all came out from my journal. Ever since I was little, I just get inspired by everything, like watching movies, listen to people's stories. And you guys, most of all, inspired me so much! A lot of times people are like: hey you're not mature enough or old enough to experience what you're writing about. I wanted to (in this song) write about what is really love. And if love had a face, what I would say to it. Because I feel like in this world we live in, love is truly what we have. It's something so interesting. Love makes you happy, emotional. It just play with you so much. It's just like 'trynna catch smoke' as I say here. So yes it's kind of invisioning if love had a face and you're talking to love and you're begging: why am I so hurt?"
