    I didn’t know we as mere people have the authority to determine who receives grace and who doesn’t.

    As concerning grace, I’ve lived long enough to know we will never get more grace than we give. We may get more grace than deserved. People who offer no grace to others will be afforded little grace in their time of need👍🏼

    Caught the replay. I believe Pastors are held to a higher standard, but should be given grace. God gives us all grace so we should do the same for each other. I just wish more of them would be willing to come clean and admit that they’ve done wrong.
    I love that clip of Manasseh singing at the enshrinement😂 It never gets old to me.

    They deserve as much Grace as we want when it’s us or our loved one. All Flesh is Grass. Praying for Him. ❤🙏🏽

    At what point are they disqualified? At what point do we protect the sheep?

    Jesse Campbell is the late Bishop Willie James Campbell. Jesse Powell is the R&B singer that passed away. Willie James Campbell was over St. James Cogic in Chicago. Saaaawwwrry, I gotta stand up for my city.

    One thing that is lost on most people is that the Pastor is still a PERSON! Pastors has all of the issues that a lay member has, they have all of the emotion, they have all of the stress (if not more), not to mention whatever fleshly desire that they are prone to. YES!!! They absolutely deserve grace...why...because like lay people, they are going to mess up, make bad choices or mistakes!
    we forget that it's the Pastor who gives grace in our time of bad decision making...why shouldn't we be graceful and return that grace to them. It's hypocritical for someone to receive in their time of need and when its time to reciprocate that the one who was graced is the one who condemns. This happens more times than not and it's shameful. Great Discussion...enjoyed reading the comments on this one.

    Don't forget the gospel singers and that celebrity lifestyle?

    Pastors need to have higher standards. They are the watchman and women of our souls. How can they lead anyone when they are sinning themselves?

      On the other hand, there are good pastors and leaders who are not perfect, but lead with integrity. It is not every pastor but pastors who do this makes it so bad for those who are trying to lead.

      To whom much is given, much is required. Their standard is higher. Same with others in Leadership.

    If Pastor Evans & his first wife had an agreement that he can see someone else, does that make it a sin?

    • @anng7514
      @anng7514 10 днів тому +3

      Yes. We sin against God and not man. We wrong each other but sin against God. God sets the standard and not man.

    I wouldn't call the cover up of Noel Jones child "grace". Grace can only occur when accountability is taken...if a person is not accountable, grace cannot be distributed. In the case of Pastor Jones and many others, **In my opinion** was a case of a man not willing to take accountability. ANYONE can be restored...but it takes EVERYONE to be accountable!

    I believe Evans took money, which is the sin he is referring to, that is something that could be caught years later after going unnoticed ,just my theory

      Taking money would be a crime. He states, it wasn’t a “crime”.
