- April 12, 1976: Bing Crosby and Bob Hope performed a benefit concert in the round for the 1976 Olympics at the Montreal Forum in Canada before an audience of 19,000. It was to be the last time Hope & Crosby sang together. Bing opens with Where The Morning Glories Grow, a song from his 1975 album A Southern Memoir, and At My Time of Life, the title track of his then forthcoming United Artists album before joining Bob for a medley of songs from their 'road' pictures.

Add Bob Hope to Bing Crosby together they worked well together & ablibbed songs that no one can do it like they can. R.I.P. to you both!
Everybody in my school loves listening to today’s artists but I just say you need joy not bad songs that make you bad this is how I fight my depression is by listening to Bing he’s the only reason why I’m here talking or writing this right now I’m not being underground or ashes.
I am being happy
Bing was the absolute best. Class, ease, style and so much unique talent. We'll never see anyone like him again.
Nicely said, even his speaking voice was musical and such a good actor in both comedy and drama.
@@davidallen508 Well said! Totally agree. Bing Crosby was everything in one, yet acted like he was no big deal lol
You're absolutely correct 💯😊
He is my all-time favorite singer. He always came prepared for his musical numbers to sing with others!
Bing Crosby and Bob Hope were absolutely fantastic and class! Thank you for sharing. Wonderful memories!
Millennials, THESE guys are what we identified as celebrities!
I've become such a Bing Crosby fan. Why did it take me so long!
Bing Crosby and Elvis Presley are seriously my all time favourite male singers.
You can't watch this without smiling! ❤
I am a Brazilian that listened to Bing on an open reel tape recorder my father gave me when I was 14. It had 3 LP records with American Folk Songs. 33 musics. I listebed tô it 1.200 times. Became a fan of him.Only 15 years lated Discovered which were the 3 records. He i see him singing My Time of Life just one year before leaving us. I cried a lot. I'm now 70.
I Still love him.

Bing was 73 during this concert and wow, was he in good voice!
I never get tired of the Road movies...
I love listening to Bing sing. A man that really knew how to entertain. I wish I could have seen him live but I was born just after his death.
Glad to know I am not the only one that loves this music.
Real entertainment by real entertainers !!
Watching this make me feel bad we did not get that "Road to The Fountain of Youth" reunion film that was being planned when Bing passed.
His voice has no changed . Wonderful
Bing was on top of his game right to the end. ❤
Bing sang with grace and ease. Quality through and through.
Bing looks like he was born wearing a tux
The tux was invented for Bing.
legends!! Both of them. xxx
I love Bing so so so much. How I would have loved to see him live in concert, that lucky audience.
Bing passed away a year later. Bob lived another quarter of a century!
Kevin Conners Amazing, considering Hope and Crosby were both born three weeks apart in May of 1903.
His famous last words “ that was a great game of golf fellas”
I was born 40 years too late. Love stuff like this.
Agreed!
One can relate.
2 Legends. Love them both☺😍👏
Bing "The King"Crosby...The greatest Music Icon of the 20th centuury! Love you Bing, miss you every day!
Mr Crosby, my favourite singer of all time, a man that was truly worthy of Star status, I’m so pleased to have many cd’s and a few DVD’s of this master of stage, screen and wholesome entertainment and of course there’s The United Kingdom’s greatest export 😂🤣😂 Bob Hope, what a brilliant double act, together or apart there simply the best.
May they forever rest in peace.
15th of April 2030 🇬🇧
Well said! I totally agree with you.
Entertainment at its finest.
oh yeahhhh
Crosby and hope: Great couple of friends
They were not great friends. They got along and liked each other but they didn't socialize or "hang-out" together.
I ask you; *HOW*? How did we go from this to the Kardashians?! Pitiful.
Yes it is pitiful !! Not entertainment today, it is globalist brainwashing. These so called entertainers of today are nothing but tools of the Deep State globalist !!
Wish Bing had lived to make The Road to the Fountain of Youth film they were in early talks to make based on Sunshine Boys & Oh God doing well in the theaters....
Oh my god... what a gem this is! Thanks 😍 His voice was still so wonderful here
What tremendous Talent!
the time they had real entertainers , I love those 2 guys , though they were before my time
Sad they never got to that last movie... :'( still thank you both for the seven was it? of wonderful comedies and musicals
Bing was a genius in making a macic atmosfare, timing.....
How fun, thanks for the memories😊
Excellent As usual! What a great singer he was!
BRAVO BING ..................
To me Bing Crosby will always be the best of them all. Near him would be Frank Sinatra and far far away the rest of the singers Dean Martin and the others. God bless them
Ah! remember when shaking hands was the norm. Put it there pal, put it there.
Love listening to the music and his voice
Bings last concert with Bob
Been waiting for somebody to upload more of this concert thank you so much
Real talent.
Fantastic! Crosby and Hope starring in the Road to Medicare...Lol!
Bing was the greatest singer/entertainer that ever lived.
Frank Sinatra once said Every popular singer has either learnt, borrowed or stolen something from Bing Crosby!
They don't make them like that any more.
Being there would have been a lifetime memory. Neither of these two did large audience performances. They weren’t that common. 19,000 would have been one of their largest for either of them. Both 73.
Bing was 26 days older than Bob.
A little more than a year later Bing died.
Poor Bing, forced to wear the dreaded head doiley. How he detested the toupee!
Who forced him?

@@HM2SGT Perhaps. Not that different from today's stars doing all kinds of plastic surgery to present a more youthful look. (They did it back then as well.)
I remember seeing this as I watched every moment of the '76 Olympics from the D-Wing dayroom of Lompoc Federal Penitentiary. It was the same year they built the country club edition to the prison for the likes of G. Gordon Liddy.
I love Bing but he doesn't seem that comfortable on stage. Doesn't have the same concert presence as Sinatra. Bing was a legend and one of the best.
And there is not one 'stereotype'.
You'd be hard pressed to find a more energized adult audience, anywhere, for anyone.
Bing could come up with a better joke off the cuff than Hope. They were both all time great entertainers
