  • April 12, 1976: Bing Crosby and Bob Hope performed a benefit concert in the round for the 1976 Olympics at the Montreal Forum in Canada before an audience of 19,000. It was to be the last time Hope & Crosby sang together. Bing opens with Where The Morning Glories Grow, a song from his 1975 album A Southern Memoir, and At My Time of Life, the title track of his then forthcoming United Artists album before joining Bob for a medley of songs from their 'road' pictures.

Mr Crosby, my favourite singer of all time, a man that was truly worthy of Star status, I’m so pleased to have many cd’s and a few DVD’s of this master of stage, screen and wholesome entertainment and of course there’s The United Kingdom’s greatest export 😂🤣😂 Bob Hope, what a brilliant double act, together or apart there simply the best.
May they forever rest in peace.
