Arizona Guayule Farmer Discusses Sustainability

Bridgestone began its research of guayule as a domestic source of rubber in 2012. Over the years, local growers in AZ have partnered with Bridgestone to convert their fields to grow guayule rather than more water intensive crops like corn and alfalfa. Will Thelander, a third-generation farmer and Bridgestone partner, talks about the impact growing guayule can have on a farmers livelihood and the local environment.
